Welcome to the #183 edition of my Saturday Manifestation Newsletter. My mission is simple: to empower you to create your best life.

This week, I want to take you somewhere that sits very close to the centre of how I understand all of this. 

Perceiving the future before it arrives.

Let's dive right in.

Insight: 

Let me start with the idea underneath everything I'm about to share, because without it, the rest just sounds like a lovely story.

Every possible version of your life already exists.

Beyond the three dimensions you move through, and beyond the fourth we call time, there is a field that holds infinite possibility.

And if something is infinite by nature, then simple logic dictates that every conceivable version of your life exists within it.

Now, I'll be honest with you. When I first wrapped my head around that logic, I felt deeply uncomfortable. I didn't want to imagine another Matt living a traumatic life. But here's the distinction that settled me, and it matters for everything that follows.

Those other versions exist as potential, not as lived, breathing experience. Think of them like notes on a piano that have never been played. Every note is real, every note is sitting there in the instrument, waiting. But a note only becomes sound the moment a finger presses the key. The traumatic Matt is a note that was never struck. Real as a possibility, but never lived, never rendered into the dense world my consciousness is actually plugged into.

So there are two things going on here:

There's the localised you, in a sense the "rendered one". The version of you wearing the goggles, plugged into this single moment, experiencing only here and only now. 

And then there's consciousness itself, what you might call your soul, which I tend to also call the observer. And that part of you was never plugged into a single point at all. It's the part that moves between the timelines, in accordance with where it places its attention and observation, peeking into the blueprints and choosing which note to strike.

So here's a far more exciting way to hold it.

Picture countless energetic blueprints, each one a potential version of your life, all already existing in the field. Your consciousness can peek into them, sense them, feel them... and then choose which one to move towards and collapse into form. You're not building your future from scratch, you're selecting it, like tuning a radio to a station that was always already broadcasting.

It's the fifth dimension, or the quantum field... a realm of infinite possibility, where energy exists in superposition, waiting to collapse, to render, into the third dimension, the world we call home.

So in a sense, every version of you already exists, shaped by every decision you did or didn't make. They're all sitting in the field, waiting, the way every possibility waits before a conscious observer collapses one of them into form.

Max Planck spent his final years trying to tell a world that wasn't ready that matter isn't really matter, that underneath the solid-looking world is energy and intelligence. And one of the strangest, most beautiful things that physics points to is that time may not be the straight line we experience it as.

Past, present and future might all already be there, existing together, and the sense of moving through them one moment at a time is something the localised you experiences, not something the universe itself imposes.

Sit with that for a second, because here's where it gets interesting for you and me.

You think your body is bound to the line. Living strictly forward, one moment after the next, no skipping ahead, no peeking around the corner.

But does it?

Because we know the observer, awareness itself, consciousness... was never bound by that same rule. It isn't trapped inside the timeline the way the body seems to be. It can reach, it can sense ahead of where your feet have actually walked.

And here's the beautiful part... your body is the antenna it speaks through. When consciousness senses something ahead, you rarely receive it as a clear thought. You tend to feel it, like a flicker in the chest, a quickening of the pulse, a sort of bracing or softening before you consciously know a single thing.

And every now and then, this happens entirely by accident.

Some of you will remember me mentioning Dr Dean Radin before, because I find his work impossible to leave alone. At the Institute of Noetic Sciences, he ran experiments so simple and so mind-blowing that I can't stop thinking about them.

They sat participants in front of a screen, wired up to sensors measuring heart rate, skin response, all the subtle signals of the nervous system. They press a button when they're ready, and after a short gap, the screen shows them an image chosen completely at random by a computer. Sometimes the image is calm and pleasant, and sometimes it's disturbing and distressing.

Here's the part that should stop you in your tracks.

In the seconds before the image appeared, while it was still unchosen, existing in superposition, the body had already begun to respond. The nervous system braced for the distressing images and softened for the calm ones, several seconds ahead of a picture that hadn't even been selected yet.

Radin gave this effect a name. He called it presentiment, deliberately choosing that word over precognition, because precognition implies the conscious mind knowing... and this was something else entirely. This was the body knowing, in a sense knowing before you do. The nervous system perceiving a future that, in every way we normally understand time, had not yet been decided.

So what does this mean for us as manifestors?

Can we actually use this, literally, on purpose?

It all starts with intention.

Intention is a deliberate signal for anything, a vision or an instruction, but it's also the deliberate instruction to perceive.

It's you turning to the field and saying, clearly, show me... I am ready and open to see what's already there.

And when the intention is clean enough, the field answers.

This is why I am such a devoted student of meditation, and also why dreams have become one of the most important tools in my entire practice. Because with the right intention clearly set, we can turn towards a version of the future that already exists and let it show itself to us before it ever arrives in our hands.

I do this mostly through dreams.

In fact, I write about it in Beyond Wanting and teach my exact method, because for years I believed I wasn't a good enough visualiser, and what I eventually learned is that dreams became my doorway instead.

I set an intention before sleep, asking for clarity on something, and more often than you'd believe, the clarity comes.

My wife, Corisande, does it differently.

She perceives the future in meditation, and not just in a vague, impressionistic way. I'm talking about real, specific detail.

Let me give you a recent example, and it's one we'll be talking about properly on our new podcast, which is launching very soon.

Not long ago, Corisande sat down to meditate and set her intention to see ahead. She came out and described our new podcast to me... the studio, how the space had changed, and all the details that simply hadn't happened yet.

It's worth noting that, at that point, we had no plans to launch a podcast at all until she perceived it in meditation.

And then, almost as a funny side note, she said, "Matt, it's time to up your glasses game. I saw you wearing a pair of Tom Ford glasses. Really nice ones."

We laughed, I agreed, and she went online, found the exact pair she'd seen, and bought them for me.

Now sit with what actually happened there.

She didn't wish for a future and wait.

She perceived it first, and then she moved towards it. She took the aligned action the vision asked for. In the language of quantum mechanics, she collapsed the wave... she saw the version that already existed in the field, and then stepped towards it in the physical world until the two met.

And this, I'm convinced, is one of the real reasons so many of our manifestations arrive so quickly. We tend to see it first, which means we often already know what to do.

And once you've truly seen something coming, something quiet and powerful happens to the way you move.

Now, this works both ways, of course.

Plenty of manifestations we don't perceive first at all. But others we catch in glimpses like this, and at the very least, we tend to get the early evidence, the signs that help us navigate our way towards them.

Because remember, I am in no way sitting around meditating all day, waiting for the universe to knock on the door. This is a co-creation... it's working alongside an invisible friend and staying present enough to notice the signs and walk towards them.

A deeper dive

Now, here's where I want to bring this home for the person reading this who's thinking, "Matt, this is lovely, but I don't get vivid dreams, and I certainly don't see Tom Ford glasses in meditation."

Good... because you don't need to.

Go back to Radin's experiment for a moment, and look at what was actually doing the perceiving. It wasn't the conscious mind. Nobody in that lab sat there and thought, "I sense a distressing image is coming in a few seconds." The knowing didn't arrive as a picture or a sentence. It arrived as a shift in the body, a change in heart rate, a flicker in the skin, almost like a bracing in the nervous system before the mind had a single clue.

That's the whole point I don't want you to miss.

The future doesn't always show up as a grand vision, it often arrives first as a feeling.

So the question stops being "why can't I see it like Corisande does?" and becomes something far more useful... "am I present enough to feel it?" Because the signal is almost certainly already there.

Your body is picking things up all day long, the subtle pull towards one decision, the quiet contraction away from another, the inexplicable lift when a certain opportunity appears. That's the same antenna Radin was measuring... the only difference between you and the participant wired up to the sensors is that they had a machine reading the needle, and you have to learn to read it yourself.

And you can only read it if you're actually here.

This is why presence is the entire skill underneath all of it...

A mind that's racing, scrolling Instagram, planning, worrying, checking, is a mind that's far too loud to feel the needle move. The signal is quiet by nature, so the work isn't to strain harder to see the future... it's to get still and present enough that you notice your own body already responding to it.

I find déjà vu a fascinating phenomenon, too.

Because déjà vu, to me, is one of the most ordinary, accidental versions of this whole thing... it's a moment where the timeline slips, just for a second, and you brush against a version of reality that already exists, and your body registers the familiarity before your mind can explain it.

You're not remembering the past, you're feeling the strange recognition of something your consciousness has, in some sense, already touched. It's presentiment that caught you off guard, instead of presentiment you went looking for.

Most people get a thousand of these little taps and dismiss every one.

The real work is learning to stop dismissing them.

And then there's the other way the future reaches back towards you, the one I think is actually the most common of all, and the one almost everyone overlooks.

The signs.

Because the field doesn't only show you the future in dreams and visions. Far more often, it reflects it. Once you start genuinely tuning in to a version of your life, the world around you begins to mirror it back, in fragments, in coincidences, in the uncanny way the right name, the right conversation, or the right number keeps appearing.

Think of it like the breadcrumbs I'm always talking about. You set the intention, you hold the signal, and then the universe starts leaving you little reflections of the destination scattered along the path. Angel numbers, 11:11, 444, the feather, the people, the objects... it can be almost anything, but fundamentally it's the field confirming the line you're walking.

It's the future, leaking backwards into the present, exactly the way it did in Radin's lab, only this time dressed up as an ordinary Tuesday.

So whether it comes as a dream, a vision, a flicker of the already-seen, or a sign that makes the hair on your arms stand up... it's all the same thing.

It's you, perceiving a future that already exists.

And the more present you become, the more of it you'll catch.

In this week's edition, I am taking you somewhere we all experience: The Messy Middle

Not the moment you set the intention, when it all feels exciting and full of possibility. And not the moment it lands either, the part we love, the part we screenshot and share. 

I'm referring to the bit in between... You know, that long, uncomfortable stretch where you've done the work, you've held the signal, and still... nothing seems to be happening or working!

I'm going to to show you what the messy middle actually is, why it happens, and why the moment it feels most like nothing is so often the moment you're closest of all.

Let's dive right in.

Insight: Understanding the messy middle

Okay, so let's start with the basics, before I take you into the quantum realm and give you the deep dive.

Imagine you've been tuned to the same radio station your whole life. A station called "your life."

You know every song on it. You know them so well you can sing them without even thinking, because they've been playing in the background of your days for as long as you can remember. And imagine your thoughts as those songs. Perhaps they sound something like...

The not-enough song.

The it-never-works-out-for-me song.

The I've-never-got-money song.

The same handful of tracks, on repeat, year after year, so familiar by now that you've stopped hearing them as songs at all. You've started mistaking them for the truth.

And then one day, something in you wakes up.

You get sick of it, and you're genuinely done. You've heard the same old songs one too many times, and something rises up in you and says... no more. Something has to change.

So you reach for the dial to change the station.

But you don't slide cleanly from one station to the next in a single instant, do you?

Your hand turns the dial, and the old station starts to break up, and the song you knew so well begins to distort and crackle. And then it arrives... that hiss, that rush of white noise, the in-between, the static.

Your old life is fading out behind you, and the new one hasn't quite come in yet.

That static is the messy middle.

And this is exactly what true manifestation looks like, in all my years of living and breathing it. It's almost never a genie in a bottle, where you open your eyes and a whole new reality has unfolded in an instant.

It's a sequential transition of energy, moving out of one frequency and into another.

But here's what the mind does the second it hits the noise.

It panics.

The mind says this isn't working, put it back, at least the old station was familiar, at least you knew the words. And the pull to spin that dial straight back to lack is enormous, because the static feels like nothing is happening. So most people, right at the moment they're between two worlds, lose their nerve and tune themselves back to the very song they were so desperate to leave.

And the pushback, that's part of it too...The doubt that arrives louder than ever. The old fears flaring up right when you thought you'd left them behind. That's not the universe telling you no, trust me, it's just the static getting louder, the way it always does, in the moment right before the new station comes through clear.

In my early days, this baffled me. In my own journey, and with my private clients, challenges would so often arise right in the middle of the work. The "tests" from the universe, the things going wrong, the sense that it was all falling apart. And over time I've come to see this as one of the most beautiful realisations of the whole practice, because that's the static. 

That's the old life and the new life briefly playing at once, both stations bleeding into the same messy middle.

Now, I'm not saying this has to happen, so please don't panic if you're not experiencing it.

Sometimes it really is a simple glide from one station to the next. But if you are facing pushbacks, problems, stress, things breaking right when you'd least expect it, I want you to know I've studied this enough to understand the fundamentals of what's actually going on underneath.

A deeper dive

Before you observe your future, visualise it, or hold an intention for the thing you want to manifest, that "thing" is sitting in what's called superposition in the quantum field. 

Picture it like this. 

Your manifestation, before it ever becomes a physical, solid thing in your life, sits in a unified sea of energy connected to all things. And because it's still energy, it's undecided, in the sense of "we don't know yet," which means it's genuinely all of its possibilities at once, held as pure potential as energy. 

Then the moment it stops being energy, something called the "collapse" happens, which is the moment a conscious observer (you) constantly visualises your future as if it's done, which simply starts to select that possibility as energy and begins the process of gradually turning it from energy into matter, which will then become your actual manifestation in full form.

Now, the version of your life you've been living for years isn't sitting in superposition anymore. It collapsed a long time ago. And through your behaviour, your beliefs, your thoughts, and your dominant observation of yourself, you've re-collapsed it every single day, observing yourself, over and over, as the person who has it exactly this way.

It's a deeply grooved, constantly re-measured outcome, with years of enormous weight behind it.

So when you finally change the dial, and decide on your new life, that new station has barely any weight behind it. Meanwhile the old station has years of weight.

So for a while, you have two stations playing at once.

The old one, still loud, still weighty, still broadcasting on all that accumulated momentum, whereas the new one is initially faint, fragile, and just in the process of finding its signal.

And when two frequencies overlap like that, when both are partially present and neither has fully won, you don't get clean sound from either of them.

You get what's called interference.

Which is essentially the static.

And here is the part that made sense to me... Interference is at its most violent, most chaotic, loudest, right at the crossover point, which is the exact middle. The moment the old frequency is fading and the new one is rising, and for one turbulent stretch they are roughly equal in strength, fighting for the same space.

Which means the noise reaches its peak at the very point of transition, when the "old you" is dying down and the "new you" is climbing up, and the two are crossing over each other in real time.

So when it feels the most like noise... and like nothing is working... that is so often the precise moment you are exactly halfway. 

(This gave me chills writing it, because it's so, so true.)

But there's a deeper layer still, and this one changed how I hold the entire practice.

There's a phenomenon in quantum physics called the Zeno effect, and what it shows is that if you observe a quantum system frequently enough, you freeze it.

So what this means is that repeated, anxious measurement literally pins the system in place and prevents it from evolving into its next state.

In a nutshell, if you keep observing yourself saying "this isn't working," even though, as you've now read, it is, that very thought and observation manifests more of "it's not working," which gets you stuck in the middle for what can feel like forever.

And do you see the cruel little trap in that?

The static is uncomfortable, so you check and you measure. You ask "has it happened yet, why hasn't it happened yet, is this even working." And each time you do, you're not just feeling the discomfort, you're observing the unfinished state and freezing it in place. 

You're taking the half-formed thing, the station that was right in the middle of tuning in, and you're pinning it down at the exact moment it was trying to evolve.

You're standing at the dial, the new station seconds from coming through clear, and every anxious check is your hand twitching it back toward the static.

This, right here, is why I talk so much about not checking, because it's the single most literal truth in this entire body of work... If you stop measuring the half-formed thing, you finally allow it to finish forming.

Because the moment you stop freezing it, the system is free to do the one thing it was always trying to do.

Move out of the static, and into the clear.

And then... it clicks.

Like it was always designed to do.

Trust me.

Final Thoughts

I want to be really honest with you before you go, because I think it matters more than anything else I've said today.

This ugly middle? 

I still face it. Even now, after all these years of living and breathing this work, I still find myself in the static, and I'll be straight with you, it's uncomfortable every single time. 

The flat days, the doubt creeping in, that horrible feeling of having done all the work and still seeing nothing move. I know it intimately, and it's annoying haha!

So if you're in it right now, please don't think you're doing it wrong, or that you're somehow behind, or that you've missed something everyone else figured out. You haven't...This is just part of it and it's completely normal.

And please please remember, that the challenge is catching yourself in the middle of it, observing "why isn't this working yet," and consciously choosing not to.

That's the skill.

Because as you now know, that very thought, "this isn't working," is the thing that keeps it from working.

And I won't pretend I always get it right. I don't. I still check sometimes, and I still wobble. I still have those moments where the static gets loud and I want to give up and tune back to the old familiar song.

But the difference now is that I understand what the noise is. So instead of panicking, I try to remind myself... this is just the middle, Matt. This is just the crossover.

So that's all I'd ask of you this week.

When you catch yourself in the static, asking why it hasn't happened yet, just smile, take your hand off the dial, and remember that the discomfort you're feeling isn't a sign it's going wrong.

It's the sound of it working.

In this edition, I'm going somewhere I almost never go directly. I'm British, so by nature we'd rather talk about almost anything else... the weather, the traffic, what someone else earns at a dinner party. 

So let's break the rule.

This week, I want to give you the cleanest understanding of money I have, through the lens of manifestation.

Let's dive right in.

Insight: Money

I want to start with a little exercise, and I want you to actually do it, not just read past it.

Imagine you're sitting in a really nice café. And in the chair opposite you, there's a person named Money.

Now, based on how you currently talk about money, how you think about it, how you speak of it to your partner, your friends, the voice in your head when the bill arrives... imagine saying all of that, out loud, directly to the person sitting in front of you.

Let me go first, because I've been there.

Here's what I used to say to Money:

"You're hard. You stress me out. You come and go as fast as you arrive. I never have enough of you. You're always letting me down. Maybe you're just not meant for someone like me. I'm always in debt, always owing you. You're the root of all evil, and apparently, according to my mum, you don't grow on trees."

Now picture saying that to a real person, across a table.

Would they stick around?

Of course, they wouldn't. 

They'd finish their coffee and leave. Because nobody stays where they're resented, distrusted and hated. We'd never expect a person to...And yet we talk to money exactly like that, and then wonder why it keeps walking out the door.

I don't talk about this enough, but money was one of my very first real manifestations. Back in 2019, I was in debt up to my ears. Loans, credit cards, cars on finance, the lot. And when I pictured freedom back then, I didn't picture a beach. I pictured freedom from debt. From the weight of it, the shame of it, the constant thoughts of owing. 

I had, without question, one of the worst relationships with money a person could have.

So before you read on, reflect on this yourself.

How am I currently talking, acting and feeling towards money? And in my own life, does money tend to stay, or does it tend to leave?

Sit with that honestly, because the answer to the second question is almost always hiding in the first.

And that's exactly where to start. Because what if, underneath the object itself, the energetics of money are far more alive than you think?

Money as Consciousness

Reach into your pocket, or open your banking app, and really look at what you're holding.

A banknote is cotton and ink, a coin is a smudge of metal, and the number on your screen is nothing more than light arranged into pixels. Strip away everything we've all agreed to believe about those things, and you're left with... almost nothing.

The true value is in neither thing. 

The value lives somewhere you cannot see, touch, or measure. It lives in an agreement and in a shared, collective belief.

And this isn't airy-fairy, it's history. For most of human existence, there were no notes and no coins at all. We simply gave each other energy... I had grain, you had a goat, and we worked something out between us. 

Money only arrived later as a kind of shared promise, a token we all agreed to trust so that the goat farmer didn't have to find someone who happened to want a goat that exact afternoon. 

That's all a coin ever was, literally a frozen agreement. 

A piece of trust we could carry in a pocket. The gold, the paper, the digits, they were never the value itself, only ever a placeholder for it. The value was always the human energy underneath, the giving, the exchange, the trust running between two people.

Which is why I say money is the single most consciousness-dependent thing in your entire life.

Now, here's the bit I find absolutely beautiful, and it's the thread that changed everything for me once I understood it.

The word currency comes from the Latin currere, meaning to run, to flow... We literally named money after movement. Stop and think about that.

We didn't name money after storage or holding, but after flow. And a current only stays alive as long as it keeps moving. If we trap it, clutch it, hold onto it, eventually it will stagnate. But if we allow it to run, it stays clean, alive and powerful. Our ancestors literally encoded the whole secret into the word itself, and then most of us spent our lives trying to make money do the one thing it was never designed to do.

Sit still.

So if money at its purest form is just consciousness wearing a costume, and currency is that consciousness in motion, the real question becomes... what is it moving toward?

It moves toward value.

It flows along the invisible lines of where one conscious being chooses to give energy to another. Every bit of money that has ever changed hands is the visible trace of an invisible exchange, a vote, a thank you, a current of energy running between two points of consciousness. Money is just the receipt the universe prints out after the real transaction, the energetic one, has already taken place.

And this is the part I need you to feel, not just read.

If money is consciousness, then it responds to consciousness. It doesn't read your bank statement to decide how to treat you. It doesn't check whether you've worked hard enough, or suffered enough, or earned the right. It reads your frequency exactly as the field always does, and reads who you are being in the moment. 

And like all energy, it's drawn to where it's welcomed, trusted and loved, and it normally always withdraws from where it's feared, gripped and resented.

And here's where it gets really beautiful, almost makes you feel dizzy when it lands.

Consciousness is energy.

And you, the body you're sitting in right now reading this, are energy too. It's an illusion to believe you are anything as solid as you feel. Strip yourself back far enough, past the skin, past the cells, past the atoms, and there's no solid "thing" there at all.

Just energy, vibrating slowly and densely enough to register as a person. And the coin, the note, the digit on the screen? Exactly the same, just energy.

Which means you and money were never two separate substances staring at each other across a café table.

You're made of the same stuff.

Two expressions of one field, two knots in the same string of energy, behaving as if you're separate because the goggles require it. (And if you missed last week's newsletter on the goggles... wink.)

So when I tell you to treat money as a being, as something alive, I'm not asking you to pretend. I'm asking you to recognise something true. Money is alive in the very same way you are alive... made of the same energy, responsive to the same field, drawn to the same love.

In a sense, you and money are family. And the moment you stop seeing it as a dead object to be chased, and start seeing it as a living being to be in relationship with, everything between you changes.

Because the moment I understood what money actually was, where it came from, what it was always standing in for, something in me relaxed.

And here's what I can tell you with my whole heart. The moment I truly understood its origin, that money was only ever frozen trust, only ever consciousness in motion, the very same consciousness began to flow back toward me.

Not because I worked harder than I'd ever worked... if anything, I worked less.

It flowed back because I'd finally stopped blocking it.

A flow of energy, looking for somewhere to run.

And here is my exact mantra, the one I still use to this day:

"Money is a flow of energy. It flows to me, and through me, and my only job is to not block the flow."

How to Work With the Flow

That mantra is lovely to say... but a mantra only becomes real when you actually live it. So let me show you how I put it to work and how you can start today, exactly where you are.

Because here's the truth.

I practised every word of this long before anyone was listening. Before my book, before the newsletter, before a single person knew my name. Back in my debt-ridden 2019, with no platform and no following, I was already practising the flow with the only money I had, which wasn't much at all.

So here's the no-bullshit way I learned to work with it.

First, I fixed my blocks. I started catching myself every single time I moaned, complained, clenched at a bill, sank into fear, or sat there writing out grim lists of everything I owed. I just began noticing it. And then, instead of the clench, I'd thank money. Which felt like a complete paradox at the time, thanking money I didn't even have, but I did it anyway. Even for the smallest amounts. Even as a bill went out, I'd say it and mean it. Thank you. I genuinely appreciate you for paying this. That one shift, from resentment to gratitude, was where everything started to turn.

Then I doubled down on gratitude for everything. The Magic by Rhonda Byrne was one of the first books to really help me here. I stopped reserving gratitude just for money and started feeling it for everything, the small things, the ordinary things, all of it. And that state did something I didn't expect. It lifted me out of the unconscious fear and worry I'd been marinating in for years. You cannot hold deep gratitude and deep lack in the same breath. The gratitude wins every time.

Next, I stopped chasing money and started chasing value. At the time, I was trying to make a go of affiliate marketing, and the game changed completely the moment I stopped thinking about money and started thinking about people. I reasoned it like this. If money is just an exchange of value, why not forget the money entirely and focus only on the value? So I did. I knew that around a hundred sales in one particular venture would be enough to completely change my situation. So I stopped trying to make a hundred sales... and started trying to genuinely help a hundred people by pointing them toward a product I truly believed would change things for them. Same outcome, completely different energy behind it.

And that's exactly what I still do today. I promise you, money is secondary. I focus purely on value and on people. Yes, I now have a lot more money than I used to, but only because I help a lot more people than I used to. The money is just the receipt. The giving was always the real transaction.

So ask yourself right now. What value can you give? What comes to mind? And if genuinely nothing does yet, then just start with your attitude, because even that alone will change how money behaves around you. You'll be amazed at how it starts to stick around once it feels welcome.

And finally, I saw it before I had it. Meditation, visualisation, sitting in the quiet and seeing money already present and flowing in my life. Because observation is the whole mechanism of manifestation. The field responds to the observer, so seeing it clearly and feeling it as already here was never wishful thinking. It was me collapsing the version of reality where the money had already arrived.

And remember, if money is consciousness in motion, and consciousness is infinite, then money is infinite by nature too. 

Scarcity doesn't fundamentally exist. 

So if it feels like it's missing in your life right now, try not to read that as an empty well. Read it as a kink in the hose.

There's enough to go around, trust me.

Last week, we untangled the paradox of holding the signal and letting go, and how the two were never really opposites at all.

This week, I'm taking you somewhere that sits underneath all of it. Somewhere that, once you really see it, changes the way you hold every single manifestation from here on.

I call it... Beyond the goggles.

Quick side note before we begin... I actually taught this concept to my client Lynn a few sessions back, and she loved it so much she said I had to share it in a newsletter. So Lynn, this one is for you. Thanks for the nudge. :)

Let's dive right in.

Insight:

You know me, I wear glasses. And the deeper I go into this work, the more I think we all wear glasses, just not the physical ones some of us have on our faces, I'm talking about invisible goggles that help us navigate life.

Let me explain.

What you're looking at right now, the screen, the room, the world out there, isn't the totality of reality, it's a rendering of it.

A tiny, filtered, heavily compressed slice of something almost unimaginably larger.

And here's the thing... the goggles you're wearing are a beautiful gift, because without them, you couldn't navigate physical reality at all.

Imagine, for a moment, that you've been wearing a highly restrictive virtual reality headset your entire life. A pair of goggles you've never once taken off. So familiar, so seamless, that you've forgotten they're even there.

And I say this as a glasses wearer, most of the time I have no idea mine are on my face until my 19-month-old son pulls them off for me.

I described this exact image in my book, Beyond Wanting, because I genuinely think it's the closest thing to the truth. These goggles, these glasses, take the totality of existence and shrink it down into something your senses can actually handle. They render a world of solid objects, of edges and surfaces and gaps between things, of separation. You over here, me over there, the chair, the table, the space in between.

And we have to remember the beauty of it.

Without these goggles, it would be impossible to function. If you took them off right now and saw the raw truth of reality, the full, unfiltered totality of what is actually here, you wouldn't be able to make a cup of tea, let alone navigate a life.

The illusion of separation isn't a mistake, it's the only way a conscious being can exist inside a physical body and get anything done at all.

But here's what I want you to sit with this week, because it's the part that changes everything.

The fact that you can't see something doesn't mean it isn't there.

We know this scientifically, beyond any doubt. Over 99% of reality is completely invisible to your senses, and yet you know, with total certainty, that it exists.

Think of infrared, think of an X-ray, think of the radio waves and the wifi signal passing through your body in this exact moment, carrying entire conversations, entire films, through the air and through you, utterly undetected by anything your eyes can do.

You can't perceive any of it, and yet not one of us would argue it isn't real.

So if we took the goggles off, if we saw the truth of the totality of existence, what would we actually see?

A deeper dive into the science of the illusion

Let me show you just how narrow the slice actually is, because when most people hear "we only see a tiny fraction of reality," they nod along, but they don't quite feel it.

And once you feel it, the entire game changes.

Picture the full electromagnetic spectrum laid out in front of you. The complete range of energy that exists in the universe. At one end, you have radio waves, with wavelengths longer than a football pitch. At the other, gamma rays, with wavelengths smaller than an atom. Everywhere in between, you have microwaves, infrared, ultraviolet, X-rays, the full unimaginable range of what is moving through reality at every moment.

And the part of that entire spectrum that your eyes can actually perceive?

Roughly 0.0035 per cent.

To put that in perspective, if the entire electromagnetic spectrum were stretched from London to NYC, the bit you can see with your eyes would be about the length of two football pitches laid end to end. Everything else, every other wavelength, every other expression of energy, is happening all around you and through you and within you, completely invisible to your senses.

And yet you live as though what you can see is what is real.

That's the goggles.

But here's where it gets properly mind-bending, because we haven't even left classical physics yet.

When you go deeper, into quantum mechanics, the illusion gets stranger and more beautiful all at once.

At the smallest scales of reality, particles don't behave the way the goggles have taught you to expect. They don't sit in one place doing one thing, they exist in something called superposition, in all possible states at once, until the moment a conscious observer interacts with them.

Only then does one of those possibilities collapse into the specific, definite, "real" thing you experience.

So what does that tell us, and what can it mean for our manifestations?

It tells us that beneath the surface of the goggles, beneath the illusion of separation, there is a level of reality where everything is connected, where distance doesn't behave the way we think it does, where "here" and "there" are not really separate at all.

And this is the layer where manifestation actually happens.

The 99% you can't see with your eyes, the infrared, the X-rays, the wifi moving through you right now, is your proof of concept. It's how we know, beyond any doubt, that unseen does not mean unreal. But underneath even that, deeper than any wavelength our scientific instruments can measure, is the quantum field. The realm of pure possibility where your manifestation already exists as energy, waiting for your observation and signal to grow strong enough to collapse it into form.

You and I, in the truest sense, are not two things. We are two slightly denser knots in the same unbroken field of energy, behaving as if we're separate because the goggles require us to.

If we took the goggles off, we would see this clearly...We'd literally see the strings of energy attached to everything, and we'd realise that what you call "you" is simply a more localised, denser knot of the very same energy that everything else is made from. 

And underneath it, connecting all of us, is that softer string, the one the goggles were designed to hide, and fundamentally, where your manifestation lives before it becomes a denser knot.

Damn, I just got goosebumps writing this part! 

The email you cannot see

I want to give you an analogy that I love to properly ground this concept.

When you press send on an email, what actually happens?

You type the message, you hit send, and in less than a second, that message travels across continents, through cables under the ocean, through servers, through the air as radio waves, through receivers, through screens, and lands in front of the person you sent it to.

But here's the thing.

You don't see any of it.

You don't see the email leave your phone, you don't see it travel through the air, you don't see it arriving at the data centre, being routed, being delivered. You don't see the signal touching the other person's device, you don't see any of the staggeringly complex orchestration happening between the moment you press send and the moment your friend reads your message.

And yet, you trust completely that it's happening.

You simply trust the invisible process, because experience has taught you that it works.

Now ask yourself this... why don't we extend that same trust to the universe?

Your manifestation is doing exactly the same thing. The moment you set the intention, the signal has been sent. It is moving through layers of reality you cannot perceive, being routed through possibility, being arranged in ways that are entirely invisible to your senses.

And yet, just like the email, the absence of visible evidence in this exact moment does not mean nothing is happening.

In fact, an enormous amount is happening.

You just can't see it yet.

Why I trust the unknown

This is why I always say I'd rather put my trust in the unknown than the known, because the unknown is over 99% of reality. The known, the part you can see and touch and measure with your five senses, is the smallest sliver of what's actually there.

It's almost funny when you put it like that.

We tend to live our lives only believing in what we can perceive, and yet what we can perceive is statistically nothing compared to the totality of what exists. We are calling the tiniest slice the truth and dismissing the entire ocean of everything else as "not real" because we can't see it.

But the ocean is where your manifestation lives.

The ocean is where the strings of connection between you and what you want to call in are already being woven. The ocean is where the version of you who already has it is sitting, fully formed, waiting for your signal to grow strong enough for the two of you to meet in physical form.

You just can't see the ocean from inside the goggles.

So when your manifestation hasn't arrived yet, please please remember... it's not "not happening" it's simply still in the 99 per cent...It's moving through the part of reality your senses were never built to perceive. And the work isn't to take the goggles off, because you can't, and you wouldn't want to.

The work is to trust that what the goggles hide from you is still real, still moving, still arranging itself behind the scenes of what you can see.

That's the entire game.

Trust me.

Welcome to the #179 edition of my Saturday Manifestation Newsletter. My mission is simple: to empower you to create your best life.

This week, we're exploring a topic that I've been meaning to take you on for a while, and the nudge to finally do it came from a reader. 

He said something like this:

"Holding the signal feels like an obsession. But letting go feels like dropping the signal entirely. I don't understand the difference. Can you help? "

It's a brilliant question, and it's one I think a lot of you have quietly wrestled with, too.

So let's dive right in

Insight: Holding the signal and letting go.

Holding the signal is the daily practice. It's sitting down, tuning in, visualising your desire, embodying it, and strengthening its frequency day after day. 

That's literally it. 

That's what holding the signal means. 

It's a deliberate, contained, intentional act done in meditation, done in your morning practice, done in the part of your day where you're tuning in properly.

For me personally, that looks like walking out to my garden office at 5:55 am, sitting down, putting on my eye mask, turning on a guided meditation, and fully visualising and embodying the manifestation I'm working on. 

Afterwards, I turn straight to my notebook and journal, write my gratitude, and write my affirmations. The entire practice takes somewhere around an hour. 

And here's where the confusion starts. 

Holding on only becomes an obsession when we do it from the wrong place. If you sit down in meditation and the voice underneath your visualisation is "I really want this, my life is terrible until I get this, please, please, please," then yes, you've turned holding into wanting, and wanting into obsession. 

That's not holding the signal. 

That's broadcasting lack. 

But if you sit down and tune in from a place of "I am already this, this is my life," then holding is just what it sounds like... A daily strengthening, a daily attunement and a daily decision to keep being the person who has it.

Some manifestations come quickly, and others take longer. And the bigger the manifestation, the more energy is usually required, which often just means holding the signal more consistently, sitting down day in and day out, doing the practice without making a drama of how long it's taking. 

The repetition is part of the magic, and the signal gets clearer every time you tune into it.

So that's the holding. 

Now, let's unpack the letting go piece.

Letting go isn't dropping the signal. Letting go is what you do after the meditation. You get up from your practice, carry on with your day, and instead of trying to keep the visualisation alive in your head all day, you do something different. 

You hold the signal through who you are being, and you aim to remain on what I call the 
"baseline".

The baseline is the version of you in the future, the one who already has it. The "you" who already lives that life. And the entire goal throughout the day is just to stay there. To embody that personality. 

For me, my aim is to think like future Matt, feel like him, act like him, converse like him, listen like him, be kind like him, be present like him, be as skilled as him, and take action like him. 

That's how you keep holding the signal through the day without obsessing about it.

You're not gripping the manifestation, you're being the personality of the version of you in the future who already has that manifestation... Big difference.

Of course, life is going to knock you sideways at some stage. There will be the unexpected energy thief, the shitty email and something unexpected that throws you off baseline.

Your job then becomes getting back to the middle, which I call getting back. Not panicking that you've lost it, not deciding the whole day is ruined, just returning to the baseline, again and again, as many times as the day asks you to.

And here comes the proper letting-go part.

A deeper dive into letting go

Throughout the day, I am not going searching for the manifestation, I am not frantically checking my emails in the hope for the news, I am not working out how I can force it to happen. 

I am getting out of the universe's way. 

My morning practice has hand-delivered my desire. And now I trust the unified field to deliver it into my lived experience in divine time. Sometimes that looks like the full-on manifestation, the actual thing landing in front of me. 

Other times, it looks like what I call the breadcrumbs, the smaller sense of it appearing as signs, as intuition, as a feeling for me to act on and work with the field.

A client said something to me the other day that made me stop. "Matt, you're really good at seeing the signs that I've missed". And it's funny because I've never thought about it quite like that, but after over seven years of studying this work day in day out, and now doing it for a living, coaching all day, speaking, and reading and watching videos at night, the hours I have racked up are well in excess of 10,000, which by Malcolm Gladwell's mastery standard apparently makes me a master at manifestation. LOL. 

I don't see myself as a master, I just live and breathe it... Manifestation is part of my identity, and like any skill, the more you practise, the easier it becomes to spot the subtle ways the universe communicates with you. 

And the number of clients who haven't even noticed the universe speaking to them is extraordinary. With the simple reminder of being super conscious, being present, recording anything unusual that happens, a flash of insight, a random name, that sign, all of it eventually means something.

So the letting go is this:

You stay on the baseline, you keep your eyes open, you stay conscious, you notice the breadcrumbs when they arrive, and you take action when one of them clearly calls for it.
 
And when it doesn't, you don't force one. You just live the day as your future self and trust the universe to do its part.

Then tomorrow morning, if the manifestation hasn't happened, you come back and repeat your practice. 

You sit down, and you tune in again. 

You hold the signal, and you get up, and you do it all over again.

Simples.

That's it, and the whole practice.

And once you see it laid out like that, the so-called paradox disappears, because you realise holding and letting go were never opposites.

They were just two parts of the same day, doing two different things, both pointing in exactly the same direction.

Not the romantic version, not the click-your-fingers version, not the version that lives on Instagram quotes, but the honest, no BS version of what is really happening on the other side of a clean intention, and how the field (Universe) organises itself to bring something into your life.

Let's dive right in.

 Insight: How the universe delivers

Before we talk about how it delivers, we have to talk about what it actually is, because I think most people in this space throw the word "universe" around without ever really sitting with what they mean by it.

You will hear me refer to it by many names. 

The field, the quantum field, the unified field, divine intelligence, pure consciousness, source, they are all pointing at the same thing.

A unifying field of infinite energy and pure consciousness that holds everything in existence, from the smallest particle to the largest galaxy, from the chair you are sitting on to the thought you just had.

Everything you can see, touch and measure, and everything you cannot, is arising from the same underlying intelligence. Nothing sits outside of it, and nothing is separate from it. 

You are not standing in the field; you are part of it.

Max Planck spent the last years of his life trying to communicate to a world that wasn't quite ready to hear it.

"Matter is not really matter."

What you call "solid" is energy vibrating slowly and densely enough to register to your senses as a thing. The chair, your hand, the screen in front of you, all of it is energy condensed into a slow, stable pattern. 

And what turns that infinite ocean of possibility into the specific, physical, dense version of reality you actually experience is one thing, and one thing only.

A conscious observer.

The field, left to itself, exists as pure potentiality. Every possible outcome, every possible version of every possible moment, sitting in superposition, waiting. And the moment consciousness interacts with it, one of those possibilities collapses out of the infinite and into form.

That is the mechanism beneath everything I teach, and, fundamentally, the mechanism beneath how the universe actually delivers what you want.

You observe, you tune in, you visualise, you hold a signal, and the field responds by collapsing the matching possibility into your lived experience.

But here is where I want to be honest with you, because I think the conversation in this space often stops short of the truth.

Sometimes it does feel like magic. 

Sometimes you set an intention on a Tuesday and by Friday the thing has arrived, and you cannot quite believe how fast it landed.

It normally starts with: "You're not going to believe it" or "Matt!! It HAPPENED"

I see this all the time, and you've probably had those moments, too.

But the no BS truth, the version I have lived a hundred times now, is that most manifestations are not finger clicks.

They take a little longer than a few days.

And that's actually the way it should be, because reality transitioning from pure energy to matter is a sequential "spill" of energy turning into matter, and depending on the "thing" you want, it depends on the volume of energy needed, and the current frequency that might already exist in the field.

Most manifestations are the result of a signal held consistently, over time, until the field has had enough of you tuning in for it to finally meet you in physical form.

You take the thing you are manifesting, and you keep tuning in. 

You do not tune in once and wait. You tune in daily, in your meditation, in your gratitude, in the version of yourself you choose to be in idle mode, and slowly, deliberately, the signal gets stronger.

I had a conversation recently with a friend of mine who manifested something genuinely significant, the kind of manifestation that, on the surface, looks like a miracle. And when I asked her how long she had been holding the signal, she said it had been several months. 

After several months of returning to the same vision, the same feeling, the same identity, the field had no choice but to deliver, and her manifestation came to fruition.

That's exactly how the universe delivers. 

Usually not in a single flash of magic, but in the quiet, layered, patient work of becoming the version of you the thing can finally arrive to. 

The miracle, when it lands, is just the visible end of an invisible process that has been unfolding underneath you the whole time.

And once you understand this, the whole practice changes because you start showing up daily, with the version of yourself who already holds the thing, and you trust that the field is matching your signal in real time, even when you cannot yet see the evidence.

Using time as an anchor

Now I want to talk about something most people in this space tend to avoid, because it makes them uncomfortable.

Time.

A lot of teachers will tell you not to put a timeline on your manifestation because the universe doesn't work that way. 

And there is definitely truth in that. 

The field doesn't have a calendar; it isn't sitting there counting down to your delivery due date. It always operates in the eternal "now."

The field exists outside of linear time. Past, present and future are not really sequential; they are all already there, existing simultaneously, in the same unified intelligence. The version of you that already has the thing you are calling in exists right now, in the field, at the same time as the version of you reading these words.

So the universe isn't operating in time the way you and I are.

Your daily practice operates in time, and if you don't give yourself a container, the practice drifts, the signal weakens, and the manifestation never gets the consistency it needs to actually land.

This is why I love using time as an anchor.

When I set a thirty-day intention experiment, I am not telling the universe when to deliver; I am giving myself a container in which to consistently hold the signal. 

Time is an incredible accountability partner, and in all honesty, that's it. The worst thing you can do is obsess over the time and how long it is taking.

Let me give you a real example.

Right now, just for fun, my current intention experiment is to manifest a keynote speaking opportunity in Miami. I have given myself until the end of May, and after a few weeks of tuning in, visualising it, writing my gratitude in advance for it, the signs have been honestly crazy. 

Within the first few weeks, a large podcast, with an aligned audience have invited me out to Miami later this year, and a few clients have "randomly" told me they are flying to Miami to do their own keynotes.

Everything around me has been pointing to Miami since holding this intent, and that's exactly how it works.

And the funny thing is, even though a podcast is sort-of-ish a speaking opportunity, the signal I am holding is specifically "keynote." 

So let's see what happens, it might land before the end of May, it might not.

In which case I'll either keep holding the signal for another thirty days or release it entirely, knowing that if it's meant for me, it'll arrive at some stage, in its own sweet time. :) 

That's how this works. You hold the signal, you tune in daily, and when an opportunity to take an aligned step presents itself, you take it.

And remember, I have ZERO attachment to this outcome, I am tuning in, and stepping back, allowing the universe to do its thing.

And being this honest with you gives you a real sense of how I actually manifest.

It's a game.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you draw, and sometimes you lose. 

A bit like any game, the more you play and the more you refine your skill, the more you tend to win. ;)

Can you tell I liked video games as a kid?

I'm always playing with multiple manifestations at once. Some are building the bigger picture of my life, the ones I hold with real depth and give the time and attention they deserve. 

Some of these take months and months to manifest, and these are not experiments. And alongside them, the lighter ones, where I'll essentially throw a dart at the board, pick something specific like a keynote in Miami, and see what the field does with it. 

This is me testing, playing, and having fun.

So if you're reading this and think you're being a bit too serious with yours, please have some fun. 

Try manifesting something completely random.

Because the playful ones keep me in a state of trust, lightness and curiosity, which is the exact frequency the serious ones need to land in too. If you only ever manifest the serious things, the practice gets heavy. And a heavy signal doesn't transmit cleanly.

The playful experiments aren't a distraction from the real work; they are part of what keeps it flowing.

If you have not read it, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The whole book is a series of try-it-yourself intention experiments grounded in the science of consciousness and the field, and what makes it so powerful is that it asks you to test this work for yourself rather than take anyone's word for it.

That is what May is teaching me all over again. 

The universe loves a specific signal. 

The clearer you are, the more accurately it can deliver. And the 30-day container holds the consistency long enough for the signal to land.

It's so magical!

This week, I want to talk about something that might be the single most underrated skill in the whole of this work: The art of not checking 

It is quiet, it is unglamorous, it is almost never spoken about, and yet I have come to believe it is the difference between the people whose manifestations arrive and the people who keep wondering why theirs do not.

Let's dive right in.

 Insight: Not checking

There is a moment after you have finished your meditation when the mind quietly tries to find its way back in, and most people never notice it.

You have set the intention, you have built the mind movie, you have seen it clearly in your mind's eye, you have written it down and felt the gratitude in advance as though it has already happened, and in every meaningful sense, you have finished your half of the work, and then almost without realising, you start to check.

Be honest, your eyes start to flick a little too quickly across the inbox, scanning for the one email that might say yes, and the phone gets glanced at a few too many times, and the page gets refreshed, and that voice somewhere in the back of the mind starts to wonder if it's happened.

Has it happened? Have I been accepted? Did I get the offer? Do I have a match? Will I see the word " Congratulations "?

And every single time you do that, as hard as it is to avoid, without ever meaning to, you unconsciously fall into lack.

I know, I know, it's hard, isn't it?

But what if you train yourself to ride the wave of not checking?

I live in Cornwall, and most people here surf ocean waves. I surf a different kind of wave, the wave of not checking, not chasing, not refreshing, not measuring. And I'll be honest with you, this is the most useful skill I have ever learned in this whole body of work, more than any visualisation technique, more than any morning practice, more than any meditation, because it's the skill that holds everything else together.

From the outside, it looks like nothing. It looks like I'm just going about my day, getting Humphrey ready for the day, walking the dog, writing this newsletter, putting the kettle on, but underneath I am quietly, actively, skilfully staying up on the board whilst the urge to peek, to refresh, to measure, to chase, tries to pull me under. 

And the longer you practise it, the more natural it becomes, and the more you realise that this, this quiet unspectacular skill of staying upright whilst the world tugs at you to check, is the entire art of manifestation.

Because the urge to check is going to come, that's not the problem; the urge is human and primal and built into your nervous system, the same wiring that has you checking the oven, checking the front door, and checking that the baby is still breathing in the night. 

The brain is built to scan for threat, and to a nervous system that doesn't really understand the difference, an unmet desire registers as a kind of threat, so the urge rises, and the mind says, " Let me just see, let me just have a quick look, what harm can it do?"

A deeper dive:

Every time you act on the urge to check, you fall off the board, you take the message you sent so cleanly and so beautifully in your meditation, and you drag it back down, and you tell the field, beneath all of your affirmations and all of your gratitude practice, that some part of you still doesn't quite trust it's coming.

And that window doubt is what the universe responds to, far more than the words you spoke an hour earlier in your meditation.

Because the field doesn't read what you say, it reads what you are. 

It reads the frequency underneath the words, the embodied state, the truth beneath the practice, and every check is an unintentional confession that the deeper truth, in that moment at least, is I don't quite believe it's already mine.

Don't worry, I am not saying that the odd check is ruining your ability to manifest, that's human, we all do it, I do it too. I'm talking about the continuous, eight-hour-a-day state of checking and chasing, and its impact.

It's math.

One hour of morning manifestation routine versus eight hours of checking?

What's the dominant broadcast? The routine or the checking?

Obviously, the checking.

And this is the part that I think really lands when you sit with it, because the field doesn't average out your day, it doesn't take the lovely meditation you did at 6 a.m. and balance it gently against the rest of your hours, it simply mirrors back the state you spend the most time in. 

So this brings us to the real distinction, the one that I think changes everything once you feel it in your own body, and it is the difference between checking and ticking.

Checking is the restless analytical mind, reaching and doubting and counting, always slightly leaning forward into a future that hasn't arrived yet, always faintly anxious, always quietly out of the present moment. 

Checking is your eyes flicking to the inbox, your hand reaching for the phone, your mind running the silent calculation of how long it has been now, and the small, almost imperceptible knot in the chest that comes with it. 

Checking lives in the future, and more specifically, it lives in the not yet.

Ticking is something else entirely. 

Ticking is the natural rhythm of a life being lived, the clock on the kitchen wall, the rain on the window, the kettle, the school run, the bath, the bedtime story, the ordinary, beautiful, normal day. 

Ticking is the version of you who is actually here, in the moment, fully engaged with what is in front of you, with no part of you mentally elsewhere.

Ticking lives in the present, and more specifically, it lives in the already.

The version of you who is in the "ticking" is broadcasting completion. The version of you who is in the "checking" is broadcasting lack. 

Same person, same morning routine, same vision board, completely different signal.

I want to share something with you that I think makes this real, because I don't want this to stay theoretical, and I had a manifestation come through recently that taught me this all over again.

A few weeks ago, I was waiting on an amendment to my O1 visa, the visa that allows me to do paid work in the United States, which I genuinely needed for some quite significant things I have lined up later this year. 

The old 2019 version of me would have chased this relentlessly; I'd have been on the phone with the lawyers every other day, refreshing my inbox compulsively, asking for updates, running the worry loop in the back of my mind, constantly checking, chasing, measuring, watching the door. 

But now I am programmed to do something different. I saw the visa coming through clearly in my mind's eye during meditation. I wrote it down, felt the gratitude in advance as though it had already been granted, and then let it go. 

I genuinely let it go, trusting, knowing that if I held the state, the visa would arrive.

And here's the part I love:

If you had snuck a look at me on the evening it actually came through, you would have found me exactly where you find me almost every evening between six and seven PM, in a darkened bedroom getting Humphrey to sleep. 

That's my favourite part of the day: the bath, the books, the cuddles, the quiet, and once he finally drops off, I always tend to stay with him for about 30 mins to make sure he's properly settled, and that little window is honestly the only time in my day I get to do a bit of harmless doom scrolling on my phone.

So there I was, on a perfectly ordinary Thursday evening, in the dark, listening to my son breathing, scrolling through nothing in particular, when I casually opened my emails, not looking for anything, not waiting for anything, just ticking through my evening, and there it was. 

The congratulations email. 

The amendment to my O-1 visa, granted. 

The thing I had been manifesting arrived, on a completely ordinary Thursday at 6:30 pm whilst I held my sleeping son.

And that, to me, is the whole teaching.

That is what manifestation actually looks like when it lands... Not fireworks, not a movie moment, not the universe throwing rose petals at your feet.   

Just a normal evening, in amongst the normal "ticking" of life.

And I am convinced, more than ever, that this is precisely why it arrived when it did.

The 7-Day Don't Check Challenge

So this is the invitation for the week, and it's very simple.

Pick one thing. One manifestation, one intention, one thing you've been calling in, the one that's been on your mind, the one your eyes keep drifting toward in the inbox, the one you've been measuring and checking and chasing without quite meaning to. 

Pick it. You know which one it is.

And for the next seven days, you are not going to check on it.

So here is how to actually do it.

Step 1. Welcome the urge when it rises.

The urge to check is not a problem; it is a signal that the practice is working because the only reason the urge is rising in the first place is that you are calling in something real, something that matters to you, something your nervous system has not yet fully trusted. So when the urge comes, don't fight it and don't shame yourself for feeling it; just notice it, smile at it, and let it pass.

Step 2. Replace the check with a tick.

When you feel the pull, swap the action. Whatever you were about to do to check, replace it with what the version of you who already has it would do. Make a cup of tea. Stretch your legs. Go for a walk. Put a song on. The point is not the activity; the point is that you are choosing presence over monitoring, ticking over checking, already over not yet.

Step 3. Remove the temptation.

Make it easier on yourself by changing the environment. Turn off notifications. Close the tabs. Put the phone in another room for a few hours. You are not trying to win a battle of willpower; you are trying to build a new habit of trust, and habits are built by environment far more than they are built by discipline.

Step 4. Watch your inner world, not just your outer one.

This week, pay attention to how you feel, not just to what arrives. The whole point of this challenge is not really about whether the manifestation lands within the seven days, although a lot of you will be very surprised by what shows up. The point is to feel, for the first time perhaps, what it is like to live in the already. To notice how different your day feels when you are not constantly leaning forward into a future that hasn't arrived yet. To recognise the lightness, the spaciousness, the quiet relief of finally putting the watching down.

That feeling, that lightness, is the frequency of receiving.

And once you have felt it, even for a single day, you will start to understand why this is the work.

This week, I want to talk about one of the quietest and most powerful forces in manifestation.

The one I've never written about directly, even though it sits underneath everything I do, everything I teach, and everything that has ever flowed back to me.

The magic of giving.

Let's dive right in.

 Insight: The magic of giving 

What if the very thing you've been trying to receive has been waiting for you to give first?

Whatever it is that you want, the job, the relationship, the money, the recognition, the breakthrough. What if it's all been waiting on the other side of one simple, almost invisible shift?

To tie this insight together, let me share a story about how it landed for me last week.

I was on a webinar on Wednesday, three days after my event in Stockholm, when a beautiful soul called Louise, who had been in the room that weekend, said something to me I haven't been able to stop thinking about.

She told me she thought it was incredible that there I was, on stage in front of three hundred people, having flown in from England, and not once did I try to sell my book, not once did I pitch coaching, and not once did I even mention The Beyond Community. 

She said it made the whole day feel even more pure.

Which hit me like a train, and inspired my idea for this newsletter.

And the funny thing is, hearing it back from her, I realised I hadn't even thought about it... I was focused on delivering as much value as possible; the thought of selling a product didn't cross my mind once. Not because I don't need to sell, but because, somewhere along the way, that simply stopped being how I operate.

All I'm ever really focused on is giving. 

Standing on that stage, writing this newsletter, posting on Instagram, sitting on a podcast, the only thing I'm trying to do is empty everything I know straight into the people in front of me. 

From the heart, with nothing held back. And I genuinely don't think about money, because I never need to.

Right now, I have over a thousand people on my coaching waitlist. My book, Beyond Wanting, has sold in excess of ten thousand copies in its first few months, and I'm flying around the world doing work I love. 

And I promise you, I'm not chasing any of it. I'm not strategising about any of it. I'm not waking up in the morning thinking, "How do I sell more today?"

I'm just giving, and the universe keeps giving back. And in truth, if I had a strategy, that would be it.

I see it like this, a figure of eight. The infinity symbol. 

Give, receive, give, receive. 

The two halves can't be separated; they're the same loop. But the younger version of me, and I think a lot of people, too, unconsciously get stuck on only one side of it.

Focused on what they want to receive, focused on what's missing, focused on themselves. And the irony is that this is exactly what blocks receiving.

Trust me, when I first started practising this, it was the biggest paradox because I really needed to receive; I had no money, I was in debt, and I really needed manifestation to work... But it finally did, the moment I stopped chasing money and started focusing on giving with no lust for result.

Because here is the law underneath all of it:

The Hermetic Law of Polarity.

The ancient teaching that everything in the universe exists as two poles of one truth, hot and cold, light and dark, in-breath and out-breath.

Giving and receiving are not two separate things. 

They are two ends of the same circuit. 

You cannot have one without the other, in the same way you cannot have a north pole without a south. So when you give freely, the receiving end of the pole must be activated. It is the law. 

And yet most people are trying to receive whilst giving very little. They're trying to attract abundance whilst quietly clutching everything they have. They're trying to manifest money whilst protecting every drop of value they could be sharing. And then they wonder why the loop isn't closing.

The truth is simple. 

People buy from those they know, like and trust. But underneath that, people are drawn toward those who give and those who pour. 

Those who hold nothing back. 

Because to give freely is to signal abundance. It tells the field, and everyone in it, I have more than enough, here, take some. And the field responds the only way it knows how. It sends more.

The universe is a mirror - it reflects back who you are being.

So why would I ever focus on selling when value and giving are what create the sale anyway? Why would I focus on money when money is just one of many forms that giving comes back as?

This is the part of manifestation that almost nobody talks about. You cannot pull from the universe. You can only circulate with it. 

You give, it gives. 

You hold, it holds. 

You open, it opens. 

You become the source rather than the sink, and everything you ever wanted starts arriving, not because you chased it, but because you became the kind of person it can't help but flow toward.

The universe loves a clear channel. And the fastest way to become one is to stop trying to fill yourself up and start letting yourself overflow.

Because when you want for nothing, everything wants you.

What's Actually Happening When You Give (The Paradox)

There's a paradox at the heart of giving, and once you see it, you can't unsee it.

The moment you give in order to receive, you've already broken the circuit. The giving stops being giving and becomes a disguised form of taking. And the universe, which reads frequency far more accurately than it reads words, knows the difference instantly.

This is the part most people miss. They turn "give, and you shall receive" into a strategy.
 
They start giving with a hidden hope attached. They give effort, hoping for recognition. They give love, hoping to be loved back. They give money, hoping for a return. And they wonder why the loop feels heavy, why the return never quite arrives, why generosity slowly starts to feel like depletion rather than expansion.

If you've ever felt that, because I know I absolutely have, like you're always the one giving, always the one pouring, always the one showing up, and somehow it never seems to come back, please read this carefully, because it's not what you think.

You haven't been giving too much. 

You've been giving from the wrong frequency.

There's a quiet but enormous difference between true giving and over-giving, and from the outside, they look identical. 

The difference is always internal. 

True giving overflows. Over-giving leaks. 

True giving comes from a place of "I have so much, here, take some".

 Over-giving comes from a place of "if I give enough, I'll be loved, safe, valued, chosen, seen as good".
True giving has nothing on the other end of it. Over-giving has an invisible string attached, and the universe feels the string.

This is why so many genuinely generous people feel exhausted and unmet. It isn't the giving that's depleting them, it's the contract underneath it. The hope that this time the love will come back, that this time they'll be appreciated. 

Trust me, the string is what blocks the return.

The work, then, isn't to give less.

It's to give without the string.

How to work with this:

Your work this week isn't to give more. 

It's to give differently.

Pick one act of giving you'd normally do this week, for a partner, a child, a friend, a colleague, a parent. 

Before you do it, pause. Ask yourself, honestly: "what am I quietly hoping to get back from this? Recognition? Love? Appreciation? Safety? The reassurance that I'm a good person?

Whatever the answer is, your job is to just see it. 

Naming the string is the work. 

Then, and only then, give the thing anyway, but this time with the string consciously cut.

Give it as if you'd never see the person again. 

Give it as if no one will ever know you did it. 

Give it because it pleases you to give, and for no other reason.

Notice what happens in your body when you do. There's often a strange feeling of lightness, almost a sadness, almost a relief. 

That's the contract and string dissolving. 

Do this once a day for seven days. 

By the end of the week, you'll feel a shift you can't quite explain. You'll have given less, and you'll feel like you have more.

Let's dive right in.

 Insight: Understanding probability

Here's the truth about the world you think you're standing in right now.

You are not seeing it.

You are seeing a rendering of it, a heavily compressed, heavily filtered, heavily translated version of it. 

The truth is, your eyes see a tiny sliver of the electromagnetic spectrum, roughly 0.0035 per cent of what's actually there, and your brain then does something remarkable with that sliver. It builds a world of tables, chairs, walls, phones, space, other people, objects with edges, and gaps between things.

In my book, Beyond Wanting, I described this as wearing a highly restrictive VR headset, and I stand by that image because I think it's the closest thing to the truth. Donald Hoffman talks about this, too. 

You are essentially plugged into a three-dimensional display that shows you a very specific, very narrow band of what reality is doing, and then convinces you that this band is reality itself.

But it isn't.

What physics has been telling us for over a century is that matter isn't really matter. Max Planck, who founded quantum theory, said it outright: there is no matter as such. What we call matter is energy vibrating at a frequency slow enough, dense enough, and patterned enough to register to our senses as solid. 

The chair you're sitting on is a standing wave, your hand is a standing wave, and the screen in front of you is a standing wave, and they feel solid because they're vibrating in a band your nervous system is calibrated to translate as a "thing."

But that's only part of the picture.

The room you're in right now is also full of energy moving too fast, too subtly, or at frequencies outside your sensory range, like radio waves and Wi-Fi signals, you get me.
 
This is the part the VR headset hides from you. You see the manifestation (the thing you want), but you don't see the possibility (the invisible energy holding it).

At the quantum level, reality doesn't exist as a fixed thing in a fixed place; it exists as a probability field. It could be this, or it could be that. Every particle, every event, every unfolding moment sits within a range of possible outcomes, each one carrying a different statistical weight, where some outcomes are more probable, and some are less. 

And what you call your ordinary life, the default unfolding of your days, is essentially the most heavily weighted probability collapsing into form, over and over again, moment by moment.

Most of that weighting has nothing to do with you consciously. It's the accumulated momentum of your subconscious beliefs, your habitual emotional state, and the frequency you've been broadcasting without noticing for years. That's why life can feel so repetitive, and why the same patterns keep showing up.

This is where intent changes everything, and it's so exciting.

With conscious observation and intention, you can rehearse and visualise something you would like to manifest, and the field of probability interacts with your conscious observation, drawing from the possibilities held in superposition and collapsing one of them into physical reality. When you hold a clear intent, you are reweighting the field, and when I say the field, I'm referring to the universe.

You are taking one specific possibility that currently exists as energy, a faint shimmer in the engine of potential, and making it heavier, more probable, so that it begins to collapse into density and meet you as lived experience.

Which means this:

Reality, left alone, will deliver your most probable outcome as default.

But the moment you introduce a clear, coherent, felt, deliberately held intent, something else happens.

You interrupt the default.

You draw from a wider band of possibilities than the one your habits would have served you.

You literally reach into the infinite field, pluck a specific potential, and by holding it as intent, you increase the odds that it is the one that collapses into your lived experience.

That's literally manifestation.

How to use Intention:

In manifestation, you hear the words "intent" and "intention" constantly, and I want to share something from my own experience, from years of studying this and living it, because I think the word is often flattened into something much smaller than it actually is.

Most people use intent to mean a thought, a desire, or a vision. Basically, it's the thing you want. 

That could be healing from a health condition, more money, a new relationship, a new chapter in your career, a baby, a new home, I think you get me. 

And yes, that's part of it, because you have to know what you're pointing at. But the thought or desire is only the beginning of an intent. It's the spark, not the signal. And if it stops there, which is where it stops for most people, nothing much changes, because a thought on its own isn't enough to move anything in the field.

Real intent is something more layered, more alive, and more deliberate than a thought about what you'd like. 

Intent is a clear, coherent, felt signal held deliberately. And inside that sentence are four ingredients, all of which have to be present for it to qualify as intent rather than as mental noise.

1. Clear. There is one specific direction, not a vague cluster of more money, better health, maybe a relationship. One signal at a time. The field can't respond to a blur; it responds to a clear signal. And yes, you can manifest multiple things, but keep each desire separate for clear focus.
   

2. Coherent. Your thought, your emotion, and your body are all saying the same thing. Your mind intends wealth, but your body is feeling broke and insecure; that's not coherence, that's cancellation. The signal goes out mixed, and the field returns mixed. Coherence means every layer of you agrees, and this takes work, but we can all do it.
   

3. Felt. This is the one most people miss. Intent isn't a statement; it's a sensation. You must feel the reality of what you're intending as though it is already yours. This is moving beyond wanting and into the version of you who already has it. It's the emotional landscape of already having it. The field reads the feeling, not the words, and the heart is significantly more powerful at broadcasting intent than the head. Again, this takes work, and trust me, I've had to really work on this, but it's possible for anyone.
   

4. Held consistently. This is what separates intent from a passing thought. Intent is chosen, returned to, and held steady, again and again, until it manifests. For example, I've just manifested a new amendment to my O-1 US visa, and I held that signal every single day for a month until it showed up in my lived reality. There was doubt along the way, of course, there was. I could hear the voice in my head. But I reframed it and kept showing up, day after day, until it arrived.

When all four are present, you have an actual signal.

When any one of them is missing, you have a thought pretending to be an intent. That's why so many people feel like manifestation doesn't work for them, because they've been sending thoughts, not signals.

A wish says I hope this happens.

A goal says I plan to make this happen.

An intent says this is done, I'm tuning to it, and I'm holding that vision steady until reality catches up.

That last one is the frequency the field actually responds to.

A Collective Intention Experiment — The Whole of May

For the first time ever, I'm running an intention experiment with people all around the world, and I'd love for you to be part of it.

Starting on the 1st of May and running through the whole month, we're coming together as a collective to hold our intentions in the same way.

Each person will be focused on their own specific intention, something personal, something true, something that matters to you. But we'll all be practising together, using one shared method, all month long. Your intention, my intention, hundreds of intentions, all tuning into the same field.

Welcome to the #174 edition of my Saturday Manifestation Newsletter. My mission is simple: to empower you to create your best life.

This week, I want to introduce you to someone you've perhaps never been taught to visit.

Someone who knows exactly how your story unfolds. Who has lived through every decision you're currently sitting with, every feeling you're currently weighing up, every moment you're telling yourself you'll get to eventually.

Someone who has been waiting, quietly and patiently, for you to come and find them.

Your inner elder.

By the end of this edition, I think this concept will change the way you make every significant decision for the rest of your life. And more importantly, I think it will give you clarity about the feeling you're currently carrying that no amount of thinking ever could.

Let's dive right in

 Insight: Your Inner Elder

We spend so much time in this work, and rightly so, visiting the younger version of ourselves. The inner child work is valuable and important. It helps us understand why we think the way we think, why we respond the way we respond, and why certain patterns feel so impossibly hard to shift. 

That work matters.

But somewhere along the way, we forgot about the other direction entirely.

We forgot that we have a future self just as real, just as present, just as accessible as the child we once were. And that future self, that elder, sitting quietly in the years ahead of you, has something the inner child doesn't have.

They have the answer.

They already know how this part of your story goes... They've lived through the decisions you're currently sitting with, the feelings you're currently weighing up, the invitations you're currently holding at arm's length. 

They know what you chose. 

And they know, with a clarity that comes only from having lived it, exactly how they feel about that.

Here's where this becomes an extraordinary consideration:

The block universe theory suggests that time as we experience it, this sense of moving from past to present to future in a straight line, is not the fundamental reality. 

In actual fact, in a block universe, all moments in time exist simultaneously. Past, present, and future are not sequential events happening one after the other; they are all already there, all already real, all already existing as part of the same vast, unified structure of spacetime.

Einstein himself described this. He said that the distinction between past, present, and future is, as he put it, a stubbornly persistent illusion! - Which I love :) 

What that means, in the context of everything I teach, is this: the elder version of you is as real as the person reading these words right now. They exist. And if all moments in time are simultaneously present in the field, in that same unified intelligence that responds to your consciousness, your intention, your frequency, then the wisdom of that elder is not beyond your reach.

It is available to you right now.

This is the concept I keep coming back to in my own life, particularly in moments when I'm not quite sure what to do. A sign that keeps appearing, an intuition that won't leave me alone, or an opportunity sitting in front of me that my logical mind is building a case against, even as something deeper is quietly saying yes.

In those moments, I don't ask myself what I should do.

I go and visit my inner elder and seek some form of guidance.

Here's what I do:

I close my eyes, and I imagine him, and when he comes into focus, I go and sit with the version of him that didn't make the decision I'm considering now.

This future version of me felt all the feelings, ignored the signs, let fear get the better of him, and told himself there would be more time, better conditions, a moment when it all would feel more certain.

And I just sit with him. 

I don't force anything. I just sort of allow myself to feel what he feels. To sense the quality of his days. To notice whether there is peace in him, or whether there is something else, a quietness that isn't quite contentment, a question he's still carrying that never quite got answered.

Nine times out of ten, he looks at me and says the same thing.

Go. Make the decision. Because sitting here with the weight of not knowing is harder than anything you're afraid of.

And then something remarkable happens.

I open my eyes.

And I remember that I'm still here. Still young enough at 33, still, at the very beginning of the part of the story he was looking back on. Still, with every option available to me that he no longer has. 

The gift of that exercise isn't just the insight the elder offers; it's hard to explain without you trying for yourself, but it's a sort of visceral, full-body recognition that the present moment, this one, right now, is the most valuable thing you will ever have.

That the window of being able to act, to explore, to say yes to the feeling, that window is open right now in a way it won't always be.

The inner child shows you where you came from.

The inner elder shows you where you're going, and whether the path you're currently on is one you'll look back on with peace or with questions.

Both matter.

But I think we've been visiting one of them far too rarely.

Because here is what I've come to understand after years of doing this work and sitting with this practice myself. Most of us are not afraid of failure. Not really. What we're afraid of is being foolish. Being wrong. Being the person who took the leap and found nothing on the other side.

And so we stay, we wait, and we tell ourselves the timing isn't right and that we'll revisit it when things settle down.

But the inner elder isn't sitting with the memory of the times they tried, and it didn't work out.

They're sitting with the memory of the times they didn't try at all.

That is the distinction that changes everything. And it's the one your inner elder already understands completely, because they lived it, in one direction or the other, and they are carrying the truth of it in a way that no amount of analysis or deliberation ever could.

In fact, a few years ago, there was a version of me who was really struggling. He was in the middle of something hard and couldn't quite see the way through. And what I find remarkable, looking back, is that he wasn't just visiting some distant, hypothetical elder version of himself. 

He was visiting me. 

The version of me that had already moved to Cornwall. That had already made the big decisions, already built this life, already found the other side of the thing he was afraid of.

He got the insight.

And now, sitting here typing these words to you, I realise something that genuinely moves me every time I let it land.

I am that inner elder.

The version he visited, the one who gave him the courage to keep going, is me. In this body, in this life, in this garden office in Cornwall that he could only dream of.

And here's the part that takes my breath away slightly.

I know that the "fours" got him here. Those repeating numbers that kept appearing in his hardest moments, 444, on clocks, on receipts, in the most unlikely places, were his sign.

You probably read this in my book, Beyond Wanting.

And I know now, with a certainty I can't fully explain but don't need to, that I was sending him those fours. That this version of me, the elder he visited, was the intelligence behind the signal.

That is how real this is.

That is how connected the versions of you across time actually are.

How To Work With This

Before we go into the steps, I want to say something important about how this practice actually works: there are two versions of the elder you can visit, and both matter.

The first is the elder who made the decision. Who took the step, explored the feeling, and said yes before they felt completely ready. That version of you has a particular quality, a settledness, a quiet wholeness, the peace of someone who backed themselves when it counted. Visiting them can give you extraordinary clarity and courage, and they can show you what becomes possible on the other side of the thing you're currently sitting with.

The second is the elder who didn't. Who waited, kept meaning to revisit the feeling, kept finding reasons to hold back. And I want to be honest with you, sometimes that version is completely at peace. Sometimes they look back at the decision they didn't make and feel nothing but ease, because it simply wasn't theirs to take. And when that happens, that is just as valuable an insight. It's the elder's way of saying, "Not this one." Not now. Trust the stillness.

I love to visit both. And I let whichever one I find tell me what I need to hear, without forcing it toward the answer I think I want.

With all that said, here is the practice. 

• Step one: Identify the feeling: Is there something present for you right now, a decision you're sitting with, a sign that keeps appearing, an intuition that won't leave you alone, or simply a quiet sense that something is asking for your attention? It doesn't need to be dramatic. It doesn't need to be certain. It just needs to be there. Name it, even loosely, before you begin. And if there is nothing, if life feels settled and clear and you're simply not at a crossroads right now, then this practice becomes one of patience and trust. Go and visit the elder anyway. Ask them whether the stillness is right. Whether the waiting has a purpose. Sometimes, the most important insight the elder offers is simply "not yet." But soon. Stay open.
  

• Step two: Go and visit the one who didn't: Find somewhere quiet. Close your eyes. Take a few slow breaths and let the analytical mind settle. Then imagine yourself travelling forward in time, five, ten, twenty, forty or fifty years, to wherever feels natural. A garden, a chair by a window, somewhere peaceful. And go and find the version of you that didn't explore the feeling. That kept meaning to look into it and never quite did. See what version of your inner elder lands. Don't force the image. Don't manufacture a response. Just sit with them. Feel the quality of their days. Notice what's present and what's missing. Ask them, quietly and honestly, how they feel about the decision they didn't make. And then listen with your body. Because the answer rarely arrives as a thought. It arrives as a feeling, a heaviness, a lightness, a contraction, an expansion. A sense of peace or a sense of something unfinished.
  

• Step three: Ask for a sign: Before you leave the elder, ask them to send you something. A number, a word, a symbol, whatever feels right. Don't overthink it. Just ask. And then, in the days that follow, pay attention. Not with urgency, not with grasping, but with the relaxed and open awareness of someone who knows the field is always communicating and always responding. When the sign comes, and it will come, receive it as confirmation.
  

• Step four: Come back to now: This is the gift that never gets old, no matter how many times I do this practice. Open your eyes, feel your body in the present moment. Feel your age, your aliveness, the fact that you are still here, still at the beginning of the part of the story that the elder was looking back on. Still, with every option available. Still with the window open. And let that land in you fully. Because this is the thing the inner elder most wants you to understand.

Do these steps for both versions of your elder. Sit with each of them honestly and trust whatever comes, without forcing it toward the answer you think you want. 

And here is the part that a younger version of me would have said, "it sounds a little out there", but I'm going to say it anyway because I believe it completely.

They can contact you.

The sign you ask for before you leave, the number, the word, the symbol, that isn't a coincidence, that is the field doing exactly what it has always done, connecting the versions of you across time in the most elegant and personal way it knows how. 

I know this because a struggling version of me received fours from the version of me sitting here right now. 

That loop is real. 

That communication is real.

So go and visit them, trust what comes and act in alignment with it.

And then come back here, to this moment, and let it change everything.

Welcome to the #173 edition of my Saturday Manifestation Newsletter. My mission is simple: to empower you to create your best life.

This week, I want to talk about something I think you already know, but may have stopped listening to.

Your intuition.

By the end of this edition, I think you'll see it differently. And more importantly, I think you'll trust it differently.

Let's dive right in.

 Insight: Your Intuition Already Told You

There's a moment most of us know well.

You're about to make a decision, take the job, stay in the relationship, sign the contract, say yes to the thing, and before the thinking begins, before you've weighed anything up or asked anyone's opinion, something in you already knows.

Not a thought, not a feeling exactly, it's hard to describe, but I know you know what I mean... It's something quieter.

And then the mind wakes up, it wants evidence, it wants proof. It builds a case, consults the pros and cons, asks what other people think, and waits to see how things develop. 

And somewhere in all of that perfectly reasonable analysis, the quiet "thing" gets buried.

And then, weeks or months later, when it turns out exactly the way you knew it would, you say the words almost everyone has said at some point: I knew it. I knew it from the start.

That moment, that gap between the knowing and the ignoring, is what I want to explore with you this week.

Because here's what I've come to understand, and what modern physics is beginning to confirm: your intuition is intelligence. And it's operating in a completely different relationship with time than your conscious mind is.

The conscious mind lives in sequence. Past, then present, then future, one moment after the next, which is why it needs evidence before it can believe something. 

Evidence, by definition, is always behind the present moment. It's a record of what has already happened... But the subconscious, the vast, largely invisible part of you that runs almost everything beneath the surface, doesn't appear to live that way.

Dr Dean Radin has spent decades at the Institute of Noetic Sciences asking a question most scientists won't go near: can the body respond to something before it happens?

His experiments are elegantly simple, and I love them! - Participants sit in front of a screen, images appear at random, some calm, some emotionally charged, and while the selection is entirely random, determined by a computer in the moment, Radin measured something that shouldn't be possible.

The nervous system was reacting before the image appeared!

Heart rate, brain activity, all of it shifting in the seconds before an emotional image was shown, as if the body already knew what was coming. 

Wrap your head around that... The body reacted in alignment with the image, before the image arrived.

Which means the subconscious isn't predicting the future.

It's perceiving it.

Accessing information that exists beyond the narrow window of the present moment, in a field where all possibilities already are.

That's what intuition is, the most intelligent part of you, connected to something far larger than your individual mind, speaking clearly in the only language it has: a quiet, immediate knowing that arrives before the thinking does.

So when you got that feeling about the person who turned out to be exactly who you sensed they were, when you knew the answer before you had the information, that was your nervous system doing precisely what it's innately designed to do.

Why We Override It:

There's a reason we don't trust intuition by default and it's really quite simple... it was never taught to us.

My parents never spoke to me or my brothers about it. It was never a dinner table conversation, never something that came up at school, never part of how we were raised to understand ourselves or the world.

And so for most of us, it just wasn't on the radar.

Unless the feeling is so overwhelming it stops us completely in our tracks, we tend to walk straight past it.

I was speaking with a client last week who told me something that has stayed with me. A few years ago she was on a ski trip, conditions were fine, nothing unusual, no warning signs of any kind. And then out of nowhere she was stopped completely. An overwhelming feeling of dread, heavy and contracting, that she couldn't explain and couldn't shake. So she didn't ski that day.

A little while later, there was an avalanche.

No evidence, no logical reason, just a knowing so strong she couldn't ignore it.

Most of us won't have a story quite that dramatic but I'd wager every single person reading this has their own version of it. The moment they knew something before they should have, the decision they almost made before something quietly pulled them back, the person they felt uncertain about long before they had a reason to be.

We were taught that feelings mislead you, that emotions cloud your judgement and that those strange gut feelings are just anxiety dressed up as wisdom. If you can't explain it you can't trust it.

And so we learned, slowly and thoroughly, to override the signal.

The rational mind, the one we were told to trust, is working with the smallest possible slice of available information. It can only process what it can see, what it has already experienced, what fits inside the framework it already holds.

The subconscious is processing everything else.

All of that intelligence arrives as intuition.

And we were taught to ignore it.

The work then isn't learning to hear something new. It's learning to stop drowning out something ancient.

The Signal and the Noise

The most common question I get when this topic comes up is this: how do I know the difference between intuition and fear?

It's a fair question, and I want to be honest with you, it's also one of the most nuanced parts of this whole conversation, because they don't always feel as different as you'd hope.

Typically, in my experience, intuition feels lighter, more expansive, whilst fear feels heavy and more contractive. But as the story of my client on the ski slope shows, it's important to hold that loosely, because sometimes the right signal arrives dressed in contraction, and that's where the real discernment begins.

Here's how I've come to teach it.

• Fear talks. It has an entire internal monologue running -  what if this goes wrong, what if I get hurt, what will people think, what if I fail? It builds cases, it catastrophises, it pulls you into your head and keeps you there. Even when fear feels quiet, there's a narrative underneath it, a story it's telling about what the future holds. It wants you to act now, decide now, respond now. There's a frantic energy beneath it, even when it's dressed up as caution, and it escalates the longer you sit with it. Fear also shifts shape; it changes depending on your mood, who you just spoke to, and what you just read. If the signal keeps moving, keep watching it.
  

• Intuition is silent. It doesn't explain itself, justify itself, or offer reasons. My client on that ski slope wasn't running a mental risk assessment; she simply stopped. No story, no spiral, just a wordless, absolute no. That's the signature of intuition. It arrives complete, without argument, and it doesn't need you to agree with it to remain true. And crucially, it stays consistent. Intuition tends to say the same thing over time.

In my experience, fear is personal, always self-referential in some way. Whereas intuition often feels almost impersonal, as if information were arriving from somewhere outside your personal story. 

My client didn't feel afraid for herself, the way anxiety feels personal; she felt something closer to a fact. Not "I am scared" but "this is wrong." One is an emotional state. The other is more like receiving a signal.

A useful question I come back to again and again: If I knew everything was going to be okay, would I still feel this? If the signal disappears when you remove the fear, it was fear. If it remains quieter, but still there, that's usually intuition speaking.

And here's the hardest truth.

Sometimes intuition asks you to just stop. And stopping can feel contractive, because we live in a world that rewards movement, action, and pushing forward. So when something in us says no, not this, not now, we interpret that stillness as fear, as weakness, as avoidance.

Fear is also extraordinarily good at dressing itself up as wisdom. It borrows the language of protection, practicality, and responsibility. The disguise is most convincing precisely when intuition is pointing you toward something that genuinely stretches you, because then fear has real material to work with.

The practice of discernment, then, isn't about learning to feel different feelings. It's about building enough stillness that you can actually hear what the feeling is saying beneath the sensation.

If you can take anything from what I am trying to say, perhaps remember this:

(Fear always has more to say. Intuition has already said everything it needs to.)

This week, we're exploring why: Consciousness is Fundamental

There's a truth at the heart of all of this work that doesn't get spoken about enough, and I think it might be the most liberating thing I can offer you. Because once you really understand it, truly understand it at a level beyond the intellectual, the entire way you approach manifestation will shift.

Let's dive right in.

Insight: Consciousness is Fundamental

Strip everything back. The visualisations, the journaling, the meditations, the gratitude lists, the crystals, the full moon rituals, the scripting, the affirmations. Strip all of it away, and what you're left with is this: consciousness.

And that's not my subjective opinion, that's where the science points.

At the quantum level, reality doesn't exist in a fixed state until it's observed. This is the observer effect, one of the most replicated and least talked-about findings in modern physics. 

A particle exists in superposition, in all possible states simultaneously, until the moment consciousness interacts with it. At that point, infinite possibility collapses into actuality. The wave becomes the particle, meaning pure potential becomes an aspect of the physical.

What that means, in plain terms, is this: your consciousness isn't watching reality, it's creating it. 

And consciousness, in my view, is simply pure awareness with free will and the power to choose, which is the most fundamental thing you are, beneath every layer of thought, habit, history, and identity.

Beneath all of that, there is something that cannot be reduced any further. Pure energy, and pure awareness.

And that energy isn't separate from the field everything else is made of; it merges with it, and in the deepest sense, it is it.

Which means that at the most fundamental level, you and the thing you want to create are made of the same stuff.

Manifestation, then, isn't about performing the right ritual or following the right steps. It's the act of your consciousness, through some vehicle, embedding an intention into the quantum field, where it first exists as possibility and then manifests as physical reality.

The vehicle is just a doorway, but what walks through it is your consciousness.

This is why two people can follow the exact same method and get completely different results. And why someone who has never heard of the law of attraction can manifest something extraordinary simply because they believed it completely and felt it deeply.

The mechanism is always the same.

The method is just the way in.

Which means the only question worth asking isn't "am I doing the right technique?" It's "which doorway works best for me?"

What's Really Working:

I'll be honest with you about something.

For years, I tried to be better at visualising. Corisande can close her eyes and see her future in full colour, vivid, detailed, almost cinematic.

Many of my clients describe the same thing. And for a long time, I quietly wondered if I was somehow doing this wrong, because when I close my eyes, I don't get the movie. I get fragments, and honestly, mostly darkness.

But here's what I've learned over time: with consistency and the practice of learning to regulate and balance my brain and heart to create coherence, I can now drop deep enough to see clearly.

It wasn't immediately natural for me, and it didn't happen overnight. It came through showing up, through the daily practice of bringing those two things into alignment, until the stillness became familiar enough for the vision to emerge inside it.

Which is why I share this not to say visualisation wasn't my door, but to say it became a room I could eventually access once I'd done the work to get there.

What I've always naturally been good at, completely and without effort, is journaling.

When I pick up a pen and write, something changes. I go into a trance, time stops, my mind becomes still, I feel an energy swelling in my third eye, and I get completely lost in the writing.

In the early days, I used to judge myself for it and would often catch myself thinking that I won't manifest as well as others if I don't master visualisation.

But what I have personally manifested and experienced through writing has been life-changing on every level, and where I am today was absolutely a dream I wrote with a pen.

Now I understand it simply means I found my door.

You might be reading this and feeling something similar. Maybe there's a full moon ritual that makes your whole body feel aligned in a way you can't quite explain. Maybe it's breathwork, the moment the breath deepens, and the ordinary mind goes quiet, and something underneath it opens up. Maybe it's crystals, or sound, or movement, or simply sitting in nature with your eyes closed.

Whatever it is, you probably already know the feeling I'm talking about, that sense of contact, of being connected to something larger than your thoughts.

Here's what I want you to understand: that feeling isn't the method working on you. That's your consciousness expressing itself through the method.

And there's a reason your consciousness gravitates toward certain vehicles over others.

Each of us processes reality differently; some people are deeply visual, others are kinaesthetic, feeling and sensing before they ever see anything. Others are linguistic and embodied, meaning they access their deepest states through words, through writing, through the act of externalising what lives inside them.

Your subconscious has essentially learned which gateway most efficiently drops you into the right state. And from there, your consciousness finds the path of least resistance back into itself.

The modality is the key, but you are the one who opens the door.

And here's where it gets really interesting.

What every one of these vehicles has in common, journaling, visualisation, breathwork, ritual, movement, is that they do the same thing beneath the surface. They quieten the analytical mind. They lower the brainwave frequency, typically from beta into alpha or theta, and they create a gap in the noise of ordinary thinking.

And in that gap, something remarkable becomes possible.

Your conscious mind, the part that plans, doubts, analyses, and narrates, slows down, and you open the doorway into the subconscious. And at that level, deep beneath conscious thought, your clear vision and intention are received by the universe.

When your chosen modality drops you into that quieter state, something shifts in the relationship between your individual consciousness and the field from which everything is made.

Your intention, held not as a thought but as a felt reality, as something that already is, enters the field not as a wish but as a signal. And the field, which exists in superposition until observed, begins to organise itself around that signal.

This is the observer effect in practice.

You're not visualising, journaling, or breathing your way to a better life. You're using those practices to become the version of yourself whose consciousness is clear enough, open enough, and certain enough to collapse possibility into form.

The method gets you to the threshold, but consciousness always does the rest.

Seven Doorways: Find Yours

There's no hierarchy here, and there's no right answer. What I want you to do this week is read through these seven modalities and notice what happens in your body when you do.
 
Something will land differently, trust me:

1. Journaling: For many people, the pen is the most direct line to the subconscious they've ever found. There's something about the act of writing by hand that bypasses the analytical mind, especially when you stop trying to write the right thing and simply let it pour. Free writing, stream of consciousness, manifesting through story, writing letters from your future self, all of these work because they drop you into a receptive state where intention flows rather than forms.
   

2. Meditation and Visualisation: Meditation is the clearing of the channel through which everything else flows. When the analytical mind finally goes quiet, something opens, and in that opening, your individual consciousness becomes more permeable to the unified field, the infinite intelligence that everything is made from and connected through. When you're in a genuine meditative state, and you hold a vision of your future reality as if it's already done, you're transmitting. Your consciousness is interacting with the field at the level where all possibility exists, collapsing a specific future into form through the clarity and certainty of what you're holding.
   

3. Breathwork: One of the most underestimated doorways. Conscious, intentional breathing shifts your state faster than almost anything else, physiologically moving you out of the analytical mind and into a deeply open, receptive place. Many people experience their most vivid intentions and clearest downloads during breathwork. If you've never tried it, I'd encourage you to.
   

4. Gratitude: Not the list-ticking kind, but the real kind, and if I'm honest with you, this is my secret weapon. Every morning, I write five gratitude statements, and the mix is deliberate. Some are for what I already have, things that are real and present and worth savouring. And some are for the next sequential step of what I'm manifesting, written as if it's already arrived. Not the whole destination, just the next rung of the ladder, felt and received with genuine thankfulness before it's physically here. It's that powerful, I have an entire chapter on Gratitude in my book, Beyond Wanting.
   

5. Movement and Nature: For some people, it's the walk along the coast at golden hour. It's the run where the mind finally empties. It's dancing alone in the kitchen until something unlocks. The body is a manifestation instrument in its own right, and for those whose consciousness moves best when the physical body is moving, this is a legitimate and powerful modality. In fact, as I wrote about in Beyond Wanting, some of my biggest breakthroughs and downloads happen on my 5k morning run!
   

6. Ritual and Sacred Space: Full moons, crystals, candles, altars, ceremony, these work not because of magic in the conventional sense, but because of what they do to your state. Creating ritual tells your nervous system that this moment is different, that what happens here carries weight, that you're entering a different kind of conversation with the universe. For those who are drawn to this way of working, the results can be profound.
   
   7. Intuition: This one is different from the others, because it isn't something you do so much as something you learn to hear. Intuition is always there, a feeling in the body, a flash of knowing that arrives before the thinking mind has caught up, a physical sign that stops you in your tracks. Angel numbers. A name that keeps coming up. A door that opens without you pushing it. Most people spend years trying to master this, including me, when the truth is that intuition was never missing. It was simply being drowned out. When you start treating it as the compass it actually is, something shifts because you're really learning to co-create with your higher consciousness rather than trying to force reality from the surface level alone. Of all the modalities, this might be the most direct conversation with the Universe itself.

Journal Prompts for the week ahead:

1. What would my manifestation practice look like if I gave myself full permission to do it entirely my own way?

2. Where in my body do I feel my intuition most strongly, and when did I last follow it without question?

3. What has my intuition been trying to tell me lately that my logical mind has been talking me out of?

4. What is the next sequential step I'm manifesting, and can I write five genuine reasons to feel grateful for it right now, as if it's already here?

5. Where am I winning at the moment?

6. If the field responds to frequency rather than effort, what one shift in my daily being would change everything?

7. How will I take aligned, inspired action this week?

This week, we're exploring: Being in true alignment

Not as a strategy, not as a technique, but as a genuine state of being, and once you understand the difference, everything shifts!

Let's dive right in.

 Insight

I like to think of it this way.

You are simultaneously operating at multiple levels: your conscious thoughts, your emotional state, your subconscious identity, your nervous system, and the deepest layer of all, what you might call your soul's actual direction of travel. 

Alignment is when all of those levels are pointing in the same direction at the same time.

Most people experience partial alignment at best. They get their thoughts right, but their body is still braced. Or their emotions are elevated, but their identity hasn't caught up. Or they feel genuinely peaceful, but they're pointed toward something that isn't actually theirs, someone else's vision of success, a goal born from fear of lack rather than genuine desire.

True alignment, at its deepest level, is when you are being exactly who you came here to be on a soul level, doing what you came here to do, and your whole system knows it.

But here's the honest truth, and I think it matters to say this clearly.

You might be reading this and know exactly what you want to manifest. You have a clear vision, a defined intention, a direction that feels solid and real. And that's wonderful. But a lot of people don't. 

A lot of people are somewhere in the middle, perhaps wanting more ease, more abundance, more freedom, without yet being able to name precisely what that looks like.

And for some, they are in a season so heavy or uncertain that alignment feels like something that belongs to someone else's life entirely.

I want you to know that all of those places are valid starting points.

Because alignment doesn't begin with knowing, it begins with feeling.

Before I had a plan, I had a feeling

In 2019, before I had any idea of the life I'm living now, I was still in my corporate career.

The salary was good, the title was respectable, and from the outside, everything looked exactly as it was supposed to. But there was something underneath all of it I couldn't argue away, no matter how many times I tried.

A quiet, persistent sense that this wasn't it... Just a feeling, beneath the suit and tie, that despite the achievements, despite everything looking right on paper, I wasn't free.

I didn't know what alignment was back then. I certainly didn't know where I was going. I had no plan, no roadmap, and no guarantee that anything would work out if I quit.
 
All I had was that feeling, and eventually, a brief understanding of manifestation, and the courage to follow it.

As it turned out, following the feeling was the beginning of everything, and the reason that I am here typing these exact words.

It's okay not to know:

I want to say something directly to anyone reading this who feels like alignment is miles away from where they are right now.

Maybe your life feels complicated, maybe you're in a season that's heavy, or uncertain, or just deeply unclear. Or maybe you've been doing this work for a while, and you still can't quite put your finger on what alignment even feels like for you, let alone whether you're in it.

That's okay.

More than okay,  it's honest. And honesty is always the starting point.

Because here's what I've come to understand: you don't need to know your full alignment to begin living from it. You don't need the complete picture, the finished vision, the certainty of exactly where you're going. 

You just need to start paying attention to the feeling. 

That quiet signal in the body that has always been there, even when everything else has been noisy.

Most of us were never taught to listen to it. 

We were taught to think our way forward. To plan, to evaluate, to make the logical choice, to do what made sense on paper. And so we learned, over time, to override the feeling with the argument. 

To drown the signal out with the noise of obligation and expectation, and what everyone else thought we should do.

But that feeling? For me, anyway, it never left. 

The feeling:

That feeling, you know the one that nudges you toward something without being able to explain why, the one that makes certain rooms feel expansive, and others feel like they're closing in around you, the one that rises in your chest when you're doing the right thing and contracts when you're not, that isn't just emotion.

That is your deeper intelligence communicating with you in the only language it has.

Dr Joe Dispenza explores this in Becoming Supernatural, which is our book club read in April inside The Beyond Community, and it's one of the most important threads running through his entire body of work. 

The heart, he explains, has its own intelligence, its own nervous system. It processes information and communicates with the brain in ways science is only beginning to understand. 

And when you learn to really listen to it, rather than immediately filtering everything through the analytical mind, it becomes the most reliable compass you will ever have.

Here's what I find so beautiful about this.

When you start focusing on the feeling, even before you can name your full alignment, even whilst you're still in circumstances that don't yet reflect it, something starts to shift. 

The lack begins to dissolve, and the separation between who you are and the dream you desperately hold all of a sudden feels closer.

You start to feel movement.

Not because your situation has changed, but because you're no longer operating from the gap between where you are and where you want to be. 

You're operating from the truth of what you're moving toward. And that truth, however quietly it arrives, is one of the most powerful frequencies you can broadcast into the field.

Alignment, then, isn't a destination you arrive at. It's a direction you keep choosing. Not by knowing everything, but by listening honestly to what feels right and what feels wrong, and being willing to follow that, even when the full picture hasn't arrived yet.

The question isn't: Am I fully aligned right now? 

The question is simpler, and far more useful:

Does this feel right, or does this feel wrong?

Not right as in comfortable. Not right as in guaranteed. But right in that quiet, bodily way that has nothing to do with logic and everything to do with truth.

Always start there, and always follow the feeling. 

Let it lead you somewhere you couldn't have planned your way to.

And like you often hear me say: 

Don't fake it till you make it, feel it till you make it.

How to work with this:

This week, I want to give you something simple, not a technique, not a framework, just an invitation to do something most people never actually do:

Listen.

Your compass is already inside you, and it has always been there, so this week your only job is to start paying attention to it.

So here's what I'd love for you to do over the next seven days:

• Start today by placing your hand on your heart and asking yourself one honest question, not in your head but in your body: how do I actually feel right now? Beneath the noise, beneath the busyness, beneath everything you're managing and maintaining, just honest and just real, and you'll know the answer immediately, and that answer is your starting point for everything that follows.
  

• From there, spend this week simply noticing the feeling, not analysing it and not fixing it, just noticing where it rises and where it contracts, noticing which conversations leave you feeling expanded and which ones leave you feeling drained, noticing which moments in your day feel like you and which ones feel like a performance, because that feeling, whatever it is, is your compass, and the more attention you give it the clearer it becomes.
  

• By the middle of the week, ask yourself one more question: what is the feeling I'm ultimately seeking? Not the thing but the feeling underneath the thing, whether that's freedom, peace, abundance or joy, whatever it is for you, get honest about it, because everything you're working toward is a feeling first and an outcome second, and when you know the feeling you're seeking you can start asking the most powerful question in this entire practice: what can I do today to feel that, even just a little, right now?
  

• And then do that thing, whatever it is, do more of it this week, because you are not waiting to feel aligned until your life looks different, you are choosing to feel aligned now and letting your life rearrange itself around that frequency.

Keep your practices going throughout all of this, your meditation, your journaling, your gratitude, everything I teach in my entire body of work, but underneath all of it, let this be the thread you come back to every single day this week:

"How do I feel, what am I seeking, and what can I do today to feel it?"

That's it, that's the whole practice, and if you do nothing else this week but answer those three questions honestly every morning, I promise you something will start to shift.

We talk so much about what to intend to manifest, the clarity of the vision, the feeling behind it, and all of that matters. But almost nobody talks about whether the intention actually transmits.

Whether the signal gets through.

This week, we're exploring: The Art of Transmission

Not the reasons you might expect. Not belief, not technique, not the wrong vision, but something much deeper, and once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Let's dive right in.

 Insight:

Most people who struggle with manifestation aren't doing it wrong. They're not lacking belief, choosing the wrong intentions, or failing to visualise correctly. Trust me, those aren't the problem.

The problem I often see is this: setting an intention is actually a transmission. And like any transmission, there are specific points in the journey where it can break down before it ever arrives.

Think about what's really happening when you sit down to meditate and hold a vision.
 
You're not just thinking a thought. You're attempting to send a signal, from your conscious mind, through the layers of your psychology, into the quantum field that underlies all of physical reality. 

That invisible intelligence that connects everything, responds to consciousness, and organises reality from the inside out.

That field is always listening; it never, ever goes offline.

So if the field is always receiving, why aren't more intentions landing?

The problem isn't at the destination.

The problem is ALWAYS the transmission itself.

The analytical mind serves as a gatekeeper between your conscious and subconscious mind. And it is the subconscious mind, not the conscious one, that has the direct, unobstructed connection to the field.

Which means your intention has to travel through that gatekeeper to arrive. It has to pass through without being corrupted, diluted, or stopped entirely.

Most of the time, something goes wrong in that journey.

In my experience, it fails in one of two very specific places. And most people have never been shown either of them.

Once you see them, everything changes.

Problem 1 = Interference

Imagine you are crystal clear on the thing you want to manifest. Whatever that is, hold it in your mind right now.

Now imagine sitting down to meditate and visualise it.

And the moment you do, you can't quieten the noise. 

There's a constant stream of thought pulling you away from the vision, the to-do list, the difficult conversation you need to have, the problem you haven't solved yet, the quiet voice asking whether any of this is actually going to work. Every time you return to the vision, something pulls you back out of it.

That is the first point of failure, and it has nothing to do with your intention being wrong.

Here's how I see it.

Imagine trying to write an important message on your phone while a toddler keeps grabbing it out of your hands. You might get a few words down. But the message never gets written properly; there are typos, gaps, half-formed thoughts, and most of the time, it never gets sent at all.

That toddler is your analytical mind. 

And it is extraordinarily good at its job.

When the brain is running at full speed, in what neuroscience calls a beta state, the gatekeeper is fully active. It is designed to analyse, evaluate, and question. Which is enormously useful for navigating daily life. But it is the single biggest obstacle to clean transmission, because it intercepts the signal before it ever reaches the subconscious.

The solution isn't to fight it.

The solution is to slow the brain down until the gatekeeper naturally loosens its grip.

This can be done in meditation, stillness, music, breathwork, a shower, or a long walk in nature... The list is endless.
 
Whatever genuinely quiets your mind rather than just occupies it is your entry point.

That is how you create the conditions in which the analytical mind steps back, the subconscious becomes accessible, and, for the first time, you can write the message cleanly and send it all the way through.

That's the first reason manifestation fails. And it's the one most people are at least partially aware of.

The second one runs deeper.

Problem 2 = The Signal

Here's what I've noticed: even when people do slow down, even when they access genuine stillness and hold the vision with real feeling and emotional charge, some still don't see results. 

The intention feels clean. 

The meditation definitely feels deep. 

And yet, "sometimes", nothing manifests.

This is the one that confuses people the most. Because they've done the work. They've quietened the analytical mind, and they've got clear on the vision.

So why isn't it landing?

Let me explain:

I live in the depths of the countryside in Cornwall. And even here, even now, there are still places where my phone has absolutely no signal. None. I could have the best device in the world, I could have written the most important message imaginable, and without signal or service, it still won't send.

Not because anything is wrong with the phone, there's just literally no service to carry the message out.

That is subconscious resistance. 
And it is the second point of failure.

When the subconscious is running deep programmes of unworthiness, of fear, of "this isn't really possible for someone like me," of a history that says things don't tend to work out, it doesn't matter how clear or how clean the intention is. 

The signal hits a wall before it arrives. 

The message never lands.

This is why I keep coming back to the identity work. It's what we explored last week, and it sits at the heart of everything I teach. The 95% of you that runs beneath the surface isn't just background noise, it is either the signal carrier or the wall. 

It is either the thing that gets your intention all the way through, or the thing that quietly stops it just before it arrives.

And here's the truth most people don't want to hear.

You can have the most powerful morning practice in the world. You can slow your brain down, access real stillness, and write the most emotionally charged intention imaginable.
 
But if the subconscious beneath it is running a programme that fundamentally doesn't believe the thing is possible, the signal has nowhere to go.

No signal = No delivery.

The work, then, is not just about the practice. It's about what's running underneath the practice.

How to work with this:
Both of these have to be working simultaneously.
A perfectly written intention, sent from genuine stillness, transmits at full power only when the signal beneath is clear. 

Fix one and ignore the other, and the system still fails. 

This is why so many people plateau: they've worked on the practice but not the identity, or they've done deep inner work but are still setting intentions from a busy, racing mind. The practice that actually works holds both.

But I want to say something for those of you who feel you've genuinely done this. 

You've worked on the interference, you've gone deep in meditation, you've done the identity work, you've cleared the blocks you know about, and it's still not landing.

First, I see you. 

And I don't want you to conclude that something is fundamentally broken.

Here's what I've come to understand. 

We are manifesting from infinite potentiality, from a field of pure energy where everything already exists as possibility. And the greater the desire, the more complex the orchestration required to collapse that possibility into physical reality. 

The universal intelligence isn't withholding from you; it's arranging energy behind the scenes, and without even delving into the deeper layers of free will and the paths of others involved, it simply requires more time and preparation than for others.

The bigger the manifestation, the more pieces have to move.

So if you've solved both problems and things still feel slow, the answer isn't to push harder or go deeper into the work. 

The answer is to ALWAYS simplify.

Think of your manifestation not as a destination to leap to, but as a ladder to climb. Most people are standing at the bottom trying to manifest the top rung. And when it doesn't appear, they assume the ladder isn't real.

But the ladder is real.

Manifest the next step. Not the finished relationship, the version of you who is ready for it.
 
Not the income level, the next client, the next opportunity, the next door. 

Not the dream life, but the next chapter.

When you simplify your intention to its purest, most essential next step, you reduce complexity, shorten the distance, and give the universe far more pathways to deliver it. 

And as each rung arrives, as each step manifests and you move up, your signal grows stronger, your identity expands, and the steps above become easier to reach.

The top of the ladder is real. 

You just have to be willing to climb it one rung at a time.

A final note on practice:

Everything in this newsletter only works if you actually do it. Reading about the interference doesn't clear it. Understanding the signal doesn't strengthen it. The only thing that moves the needle is consistent, daily practice.

This week, we're going somewhere deeper than technique, deeper than practice, deeper than any morning routine could ever reach on its own.

This week, we're talking about The Identity Shift — and why it might be the most important thing you ever do in this work.

Let's dive right in.

Insight:

I want to start with something that completely changed how I understood manifestation, and honestly, how I understood myself.

We don't attract what we want; we attract who we are being.

Sit with it for a moment, because the difference between those two things is the difference between a practice that occasionally produces results and one that transforms your entire reality from the inside out.

Most people, when they think about manifestation, think about desire. They think about what they want: the relationship, the income, the career, the home, the version of life that feels just out of reach.

And so they visualise, journal, affirm, and wait.

And sometimes things manifest, and sometimes they don't. And they can't quite figure out why.

Well, here's why:

Your desire lives in your conscious mind.

But your identity, the version of you that exists when you're not in focused thought, lives somewhere far deeper. It lives in the subconscious.

And the subconscious, by the best scientific estimates we have, accounts for somewhere around 95% of who you actually are.

That means the conscious mind, the part of you reading these words, choosing to do this work, deciding to visualise and set intentions, represents roughly five percent of the total picture.

Five percent.

The other 95 is running quietly beneath the surface, shaping how you carry yourself, how you respond to setbacks, how you speak to yourself in moments of doubt, what you believe is possible for someone like you, and what you ultimately allow into your life.

That 95% is your identity.

And no amount of conscious desire can override it for long.

What Identity Actually Is

I think about identity as your being state, the version of you that comes online when you're in idle mode.

Idle mode is the programmed you. 

It's the background display that comes online when you step away from deliberate, conscious, focused attention. It's the self-referential thinking, the voice in your head, what's happening between the focused moments. 

It's the tone of that inner voice on an ordinary Tuesday morning when nothing in particular is going on. It's how you react when something doesn't go your way. It's how you feel about yourself when nobody is watching, and nobody is asking.

That's identity. And it's broadcasting a signal into the quantum field (Universe) every single moment of every single day, regardless of what your vision board says.

This is why two people can do exactly the same practice, the same meditation, the same journaling, the same visualisation, and experience completely different results. 

Because the practice is the same, but the identities running underneath are different. And the field responds to identity, not just intention. Trust me.

Think about it this way. 

Imagine you're in a house with a broken heating system. Every morning, you sit down, close your eyes, and visualise a beautiful new system. You feel the warmth, you see yourself cosy, book in hand, coffee on the go, completely at ease. And for those few minutes, you genuinely feel it. Then the meditation ends, you open your eyes, and the broken heating system is still running. The house is still cold.

Your morning practice is the warmth. Your identity is the heating system. Until you fix the system, the house will always be cold.

And here is where the analogy becomes something more than just an analogy. 

Because in the manifestation space, the fix is not "out there", it's "in here". 

What we are actually doing, through the practice, through the feeling, through the consistent showing up, is fixing the inside. 

We are updating the old beliefs that were perhaps once true, perhaps once necessary, perhaps once the most logical conclusion a younger version of you could draw from the evidence life had given you at the time. But they are not true now. And they are not yours to carry anymore.

When that inner work happens, when the old story finally releases, and the new identity begins to take its place, something profound shifts. The conscious desire and the subconscious identity stop pulling against each other and begin to move as one. And in that alignment, in that deep coherence between what you want and who you are being, you create the most powerful signal you are capable of transmitting. 

A unified, unobstructed observation of your reality as already complete.

And as we know from quantum physics, observation collapses infinite potentiality into form.

When there is no internal contradiction dividing the signal, when the conscious mind and the subconscious are no longer at war, the field has nothing to push against. 

It simply responds, literally, like magic.

That is the coherence we are building toward. That is what the identity shift actually creates.

Ask yourself honestly:
What is running in the middle of your day, after the routine is done and the practice is behind you? What is the background hum of your being state when there's nothing prompting you to be conscious of it?

Unlike an actual broken heating system, your subconscious is not fixed. It is not the permanent, unchangeable truth of who you are, even though it will do everything in its power to convince you that it is. It is a program, and programs, no matter how long they have been running, can be rewritten.

With consistent, emotionally charged practice, the system can begin to update far more quickly than most people believe possible. 

Neuroscience has literally shown us that the brain is plastic, genuinely and physically capable of forming new neural pathways at any age, in any season of life, no matter how solid and deeply programmed the old ones feel. 

Every time you show up to this work with real feeling, real presence and real emotional charge, you are not just having a nice experience. You are literally laying down new wiring.

Let's take someone who consciously dreams of a new level of income in their work or business. 

They visualise it every day, they know what they want, and they do the practice. And yet no matter what they do, something keeps pulling them back. A quiet feeling of unworthiness, almost like a sense that it isn't really possible for people like them. They notice it in the small moments, the way they hesitate before sending the important email, the way they downplay their work when someone asks what they do, the way they scroll past opportunities that are made for them and tell themselves it probably isn't the right time.

Their body tightens every time the vision starts to feel real, as though something deep inside is already preparing for the disappointment.

That tightening is simply the old identity living in the body, and it is the most honest signal you will ever receive about where the real work needs to happen.

The subconscious hasn't just written its program into your thoughts. It has written it into your nervous system, into the way your shoulders carry tension, into the subtle contraction that moves through your chest when something good starts to arrive, and that feeling in your stomach that feels like a tight knot. 

You have felt that. I know you have, because we all have.

And this is precisely why the work has to go beyond the mental. Visualisation opens the door, but it is the feeling, the deep, physically real, emotionally genuine feeling of already being the new version of yourself, that walks through it. 

When you stop just thinking about the new identity and start feeling it, inhabiting it, breathing it into your body rather than just holding it in your mind, something shifts at a level that no amount of willpower could ever reach.

That is when your system actually updates.

And your whole life changes.

That is the identity shift. And it is available to you right now, exactly as you are, if you are willing to feel it and not just think it.

How to work with this:

There are two places where this work happens, and you need both.

• The first is the morning. Before the world rushes in, before the notifications and the obligations and the noise, you have a window of access to the subconscious mind. The brain is still moving between sleep and waking, still lingering in that theta brainwave state, the same state children live in naturally, the same state where programming goes in most deeply.

This is your moment. Don't check your phone, don't run through your to-do list. This is your moment to deliberately choose the identity you will inhabit today.

You don't need an hour. You need a question and a genuine pause to feel the answer. Ask yourself, before your feet hit the floor: 

Who am I choosing to be today?

What is the quality of presence I'm bringing into this day? What does the version of me who already has everything I'm working toward feel like, right now, in this body?

Stay there as you contemplate this question and let it become real in your nervous system before you move.

• The second place is the day itself. This is where most people lose it. Because identity is not just what you install in the morning. It's what you catch yourself returning to throughout the day. Every time you notice the old narrative creeping back in, the voice that says things like, "this isn't working," "nothing ever lands for me," "who am I to want this"  - that is your old identity reasserting itself. And the practice is not to fight it, it's to notice it. To catch it the moment it surfaces, and to make a choice, consciously, deliberately, about which version of yourself you're going to return to.

Consciousness, as Tom Campbell so perfectly put it, is awareness with choice. You cannot always control what arises. But you can always choose what you feed it.

Every time you choose the new identity over the old one,  even for a moment, even in the smallest interaction, you are reinforcing the new wiring. You are making the new self more real. 

You are turning a temporary morning state into a permanent way of being.

And that is how the shift happens.

Not in a single breakthrough, not in one deep meditation. But in the accumulated weight of a thousand small choices to return, again and again, to the version of you that already has everything you are asking for.

That dream future version of you is not a fantasy...They are the most natural, most unobstructed version of you that has ever existed. The one that was here before fear wrote itself into the program.

Your only job is to keep choosing them.

Welcome to the #168 edition of my Saturday Manifestation Newsletter. My mission is simple: to empower you to create your best life.

This week, I want to talk about something I watch every single day.

My son Humphrey is seventeen months old. This morning, before breakfast, he has already been a lion, a cow, a duck, and something that may have been a dinosaur, each one complete with its own unique and adorable sound.

He danced in the kitchen for no reason other than music was playing, and his body simply could not respond, and then out of nowhere, looked me dead in the eye, and said the word "cracker" with the kind of clear certainty that most adults spend years trying to rediscover when it comes to asking for what they want.

I want you to pause here, before we go any further, and think about a child in your own life.

Your son or daughter. A grandchild. A niece or nephew. Or simply yourself, the version of you that existed before you learned all the reasons why things do not tend to work out.

Hold that child in your mind as you read this.

Because what I am about to share is not really about Humphrey. It is about something that was once true of every single one of us.

Let's dive right in.

Insight:

Up until around the age of seven, children spend most of their time in a brainwave state called theta.

In adults, theta only occurs in the deepest meditation, or in those hazy moments just before you fall asleep. It is a state of total, unfiltered absorption, and everything goes straight in.

There is no gatekeeper, no filter, and no voice telling you whether it is realistic or too much to ask for.

Just pure receiving.

Between seven and twelve, that begins to shift. 

The analytical mind comes online. You might know it as the inner critic or the monkey mind. It's the voice that narrates your experience, evaluates your worth, compares you to everyone else, and delivers a running commentary on why your dreams are probably a bit much.

That voice gradually arrives. And by the time most of us reach adulthood, it is running almost constantly.

The subconscious mind does not do any of that. It does not judge, it does not filter your desires through a record of previous disappointments and conclude they are unlikely. 

It simply receives, believes, and acts.

And here is the part that matters most.

The subconscious mind has a direct, unobstructed connection to the unified field (the universe). 

When there is no analytical filter in the way, the signal goes straight through, directly to the universe.

Now, the analytical mind is not the enemy. It is genuinely useful and helps you navigate the world, manage risk, plan, reason, and reflect. 

But it comes with something the subconscious does not have: A filter that sits between who you are and what you are capable of manifesting.

That voice is what we are working with when we talk about manifestation.

The Subconscious Mind

Think of the subconscious mind as the part of you that is always, without interruption, in direct conversation with the universe. It does not sleep, it does not go offline, and it is broadcasting a signal constantly.

The problem is not the subconscious mind. 

The problem is what has been written into it.

Because those early years of pure open absorption not only received wonder and possibility, but also fear, hurt, sadness, and everything else. 

This is why some people do everything right, the intention, the visualisation, the gratitude and nothing moves.

They are sending a conscious signal into a subconscious that is quietly running a completely different programme underneath. And the subconscious, which has been running that programme far longer and far deeper, usually wins.

So the real work is this:

We take our conscious desire, get it past the gatekeeper, and plant it directly in the subconscious.

Not once, but repeatedly, with feeling and emotional charge, in the relaxed receptive state of meditation, where the analytical filter loosens its grip, and the deeper mind becomes accessible again.

That is what meditation is actually doing. That is the mechanism underneath every technique I teach.

The child does not have a gatekeeper yet.

You do.

But you can learn to walk past it.

Four things we can learn from Humphrey and any child:

1. The first is presence. Humphrey does not live anywhere except right now. There is no version of him already in tomorrow, no weight he is carrying from yesterday. There is only this moment, this animal noise, this dance, this cracker. He lives there permanently because his brain has not yet built the machinery to live anywhere else. Most adults visit briefly and then leave. The good news is that presence is not something you have to manufacture. It is something you simply return to, the moment you notice you have drifted.
   

2. The second is imagination. When Humphrey decides he is a dog, he is a dog. Fully, physically, completely, without any part of him monitoring whether it is convincing or checking whether anyone believes him. He becomes the thing he has decided to be, and we all join in. This is exactly what manifestation asks of you. To step into the identity of the version of you who already has what you want, and to inhabit that version right now, without waiting for the world to confirm it first. Humphrey does this a hundred times before lunch. His subconscious accepts it as real every single time. Yours will too, if you let it.
   

3. The third is receiving. When Humphrey wants a cracker, he asks for a cracker. (see the photo below) He does not wonder whether he deserves it or feel guilty for wanting it. When it arrives, he takes it. He asked, it arrived, he received it, and he moved on. Clean and simple. The field responds to the frequency of someone who can receive without apology. Think about how often, as adults, we do the opposite. We deflect compliments, we apologise for good news, and we hold our happiness slightly at arm's length as though enjoying it too fully might jinx it. Every one of those moments is a signal. You are always training the field in what you can hold. Humphrey's signal, in this regard, is perfect. Yours can be too.
   

4. The fourth is emotional honesty. This is the one I want you to really sit with. When something upsets Humphrey, it completely upsets him. He feels it, fully, in his whole body, and then it is gone. He cries, and then he laughs. He is afraid, then curious. He does not build a narrative around the upset or carry it forward as evidence of how things tend to go for him.

Now think about what we do.

Something happens, a comment, a setback, a disappointment, a trigger, and we feel it, but then we hold it. We replay it over and over until it stops being an event and becomes a belief. We let it colour the rest of the day, the week, sometimes longer.

We are all triggered. That is never going to change, and it is not the problem. The question is never whether the upset arrives. The question is how quickly you are willing to let it move through you?

Because every moment you hold onto it, you are broadcasting that frequency into the field.

You are not punishing the person or situation that caused it. You are distorting your own signal.

Children move on quickly, not because they feel less, but because they do not cling. 

They feel everything and release everything... It's emotional mastery.

And it is available to you, right now, every single time something knocks you sideways. Feel it, fully. And then ask yourself one question.

Am I going to let this moment define what I broadcast next? Or am I going to do what Humphrey does, and move on to the next thing?

This week's practice

Find time this weekend to play, have fun and surrender the voice in your head. 

Choose something that felt genuinely magical to you when you were small. A game, something creative, whatever it is, I know you know. 

Allow yourself to do it and feel free.

Surrender is not giving up; it's the return to innocence.

It is the decision to move the analytical mind out of the gap between your desire and the field's response. To stop narrating, evaluating, monitoring, and controlling, and to simply be the way you were before anyone taught you that the whole thing needed to be this complicated.

The child you once were did not need to be taught to manifest. They were already doing it, naturally and constantly, from the subconscious mind's direct, unobstructed connection to the unified field.

You are that child.

Underneath everything that has been added, you are still that child. And the field is still there, vast, responsive, and waiting for you to stop trying so hard.

Then, before you move on, notice what happened in your body. Notice whether you felt lighter. Notice whether something in you relaxed that you had not even realised was held.

That feeling is not nostalgia; it's the frequency of your most natural state.

That is what the field has always been waiting for you to come back to.

And it will change everything.

This work is the part nobody prepares you for...The quiet and the stillness, when it looks like nothing is happening.

But what's happening behind the scenes?

 Insight:

Before we talk about what happens in the invisible work phase, we need to talk about what the invisible actually is. Because most people imagine it as a void, a gap or an absence of something. 

As if between the intention and the manifestation there is simply... nothing.

But that is not what the invisible is.

The invisible is the most sophisticated information and energy system in existence. It is what quantum physicists call the unified field, which is the underlying fabric of reality that connects everything to everything else.

And in the manifestation space, this is simply referred to as "The Universe".

Literally, at the subatomic level, there is a field of consciousness that underpins all of physical reality, and every single thing you can see, touch, and measure is an expression of it.

Think about what that actually means.

The chair you are sitting on. The thought you are thinking right now. The person on the other side of the world who is, at this exact moment, making a decision that will eventually cross your path.

The opportunity that you do not yet know is heading toward you.

All of it arises from and is connected through the same field.

Max Planck, the father of quantum theory, said that he regarded consciousness as fundamental and matter as a derivative of consciousness. Not the other way around. The field came first. Physical reality is what the field produces.

So when you set a genuine intention to manifest something, when you shift your state and send a clear signal, you are not sending a wish out into empty space hoping something catches it.

You are literally communicating directly with the intelligence that organises reality itself. You are introducing new information into a system that is already, always, constantly in the process of creating.

And the field always responds.

It takes the signal, and it begins to move the pieces. It works at a level so far beneath the surface that, from where you are standing, it is completely invisible.

This is what is happening in the gap.

Consciousness - the same consciousness that is reading these words, the same consciousness that underlies the chair and the opportunity and the person who is about to find their way to you -  is doing what it has always done.

Organising, connecting and creating.

You cannot see it because it is invisible to our sense data.

But it has never once stopped working.

What happens when you set an intention:

Most people think of setting an intention as the beginning of a long process. But I want to reframe that completely.

Setting an intention is not the start of the journey. It is your part of the journey. And it is shorter and simpler than most people realise.

You get clear on what you want. You feel gratitude for it as if it is already done, you visualise it as complete using meditation, and then you hand it over. 

You have done your bit. 

What happens next is not yours to manage.

Here is something that will shift how you see this:

Visible reality, everything you can touch, measure and perceive with your senses, represents less than 0.0001% of what actually exists. 

The remaining 99.9999% is invisible. It is the field. It is the unified consciousness we have just been talking about. And that is precisely where your manifestation is being worked on.

You do not manage that process. 

Your role was to set the signal and allow the field's invisible, vast intelligence to take over.

And this requires patience and trust.

Real patience in manifestation is a deep, cellular knowing that the process is already in motion, and that you have done your bit. 

It's the level of trust that has moved from the mind to the body.

It is the difference between hoping something will happen and knowing that it already has, at a level of reality you cannot yet see.

The invisible work needs your trust the way a fire needs oxygen.

It's an elegant dance and co-creation.

It's teamwork between you and the Universe.

Remember, there's no "I" in team.

And also remember, when you withdraw that trust, when you collapse back into doubt, into urgency, into the story that nothing is happening, you are not just feeling bad. You are changing your frequency. And frequency is the signal. The field responds to what you are broadcasting, not what you are asking for.

But what you do with it matters enormously. You can let it become your dominant frequency, or you can notice it, acknowledge it, and return, gently, deliberately, as many times as it takes, back to the baseline of trust and the knowing that it is happening behind the scenes.

This week, we're exploring something I've been meaning to write about for a long time: Reading the signs.

Specifically, how the universe speaks to us, how to know when something is real, and, crucially, how to work with signs without forcing or chasing them into silence.

Are you ready?

Let's dive right in.

 Insight:

For years, I ignored the signs.

Not because I didn't notice them. But I didn't trust them. I'd see something unusual, feel that unmistakable flutter in my chest, and then immediately talk myself out of it. 

"It's just a coincidence. You're reading into things. Don't be one of those people."

I think a lot of us do this.

We've been trained to explain everything away. And so we miss one of the most extraordinary aspects of this work, which is the fact that the universe is constantly in dialogue with us, and has been all along.

Here's what changed for me.

I stopped asking whether signs were real and started asking a different question: What are the statistical odds?

Because when you really sit with that, when you slow down and look at the improbability of certain moments, you begin to realise that some things simply cannot be explained by chance.

And when something cannot be explained by chance, you know it's something else entirely.

For example, last week, my wife Corisande and I were sitting here in our garden office in Cornwall, talking about her grandparents who are no longer with us. We were in the middle of a specific conversation about them when, in that exact second, a small bird flew straight into our office window.

But not any bird, a rare bird, that happened to be their favourite.

In the entire year we've been here, that has never happened. Not once.

The bird was fine; it flew away. But we both felt it, that unmistakable stillness that follows a moment, you know, on some level you can't fully explain, is not random.

What are the odds? What are the statistical odds of that bird, at that window, in that exact second? When you really try to calculate the improbability of it, and when you factor in that Corisande's grandparents were known lovers of birds, especially that kind of bird, the numbers become almost impossible to hold.

And that's when you know. When something defies statistical probability so completely, you're no longer in the territory of coincidence.

You're in the territory of the divine.

The Universe Responds to Awareness

Over the last few weeks, I've been seeing 333 everywhere.
 
Now, I want to be precise about what I mean by that, because I know how it sounds. I'm not talking about occasionally glancing at a clock at 3:33. I'm talking about this number appearing in the most unusual places, in rapid succession, in ways that genuinely make you stop.

After seven years of studying and practising this work, I know the difference between a number you notice because you're looking for it, and a number that keeps finding you.

When this happens, here's what I do, and this is important.

I don't rush to Google the meaning. I don't frantically try to decode some cosmic message. I sit with it, and I turn the lens inward, and ask:

"Matt, what's going on? Where are you at right now? What is this mirroring back to you?"

Sometimes I have no clue, but I start pondering, because what I've found is that the number keeps popping up until you figure it out.

What I've come to understand about signs is that they are, first and foremost, a reflection.

The field of intelligence that we're co-creating with, the same field that responds to your frequency, your state, and your intention, is also reflecting your inner world back to you.

Signs are the universe saying: "I see you. Here's where you are."

But they're also something more. 

They're navigational, and when you develop a genuine relationship with this intelligence, the signs begin to guide you. Not like a map with specific instructions, but more like a compass, they literally start to orient you.

They confirm when you're aligned, and importantly, they nudge you gently when you've drifted.

And I want to say something important here, especially if you feel like you never receive signs. Please don't worry. You're not doing anything wrong. I go weeks sometimes without a sign. This is not a test you pass or fail. It is a relationship you develop over time.

Signs can also be anything, not just numbers. They can be intuition, a deep knowing, a book that falls open at the right page, a song that plays at exactly the right moment, a conversation that stops you in your tracks.

The universe has an infinite number of ways to communicate with you, and as you develop this relationship, you begin to recognise your own personal language with it.

And of course, signs are not just a reflection from the universe, they can absolutely be from loved ones who have passed over.

How to Work With Surrender:

This is where most people get it wrong, and it's also where the paradox lives, so I need to be honest with you.

The moment you start hunting for signs, you stop receiving them. When you're forcing and fighting for a sign, you're actually manifesting more forcing and fighting. You're operating from a place of lack, from the frequency of 'I haven't received a sign yet,' and the field responds to exactly that.

I spoke about surrender last week for a reason. The two are deeply linked. You have to hold this practice with the same open hands.

So here's how I'd encourage you to work with signs.

• Become the detective, not desperate. A good detective doesn't manufacture evidence. They observe, gather, and let the picture emerge. When you notice something unusual, log it. Hold it lightly. Over time, patterns reveal themselves, and those patterns become your personal language with the universe.
  

• Ask, then release. One technique I've used for years and explored in my book, Beyond Wanting, comes from José Silva's work. Before sleep, or in meditation, you simply ask the universe to send you a sign, not as a demand, but as a genuine, open question. You might say: "Here is my problem; turn this into a project to solve, and show me through my dream." Then let it go entirely. The sign, almost always, appears in the days that follow, and it will arrive in a way that's unmistakable.
  

• Turn inward first. When a sign arrives, before you reach for a meaning, ask yourself what it's mirroring. What are you feeling right now? What's occupying your mind? The sign is usually less about predicting your future and more about reflecting your present state, and inviting you to shift it if needed.
  

• Don't force the meaning. Some signs are clear. Others sit with you for days before they make sense. Trust the timing of the understanding as much as you trust the sign itself.
  

• Trust your body. Your nervous system knows. When something is genuinely a sign, there's a quality to the recognition that is different from wishful thinking. It's quieter. Steadier. Less frantic. Learn to feel the difference.

The more you surrender, the more you trust, and the more you show up with open hands and a quiet mind, the more this extraordinary dialogue with the universe begins to reveal itself. You are not separate from this intelligence.

You are part of it, and it is always, always speaking to you.

Your job is simply to listen.

This week, we're exploring The Art of Surrender, and why mastering this might be the most important work you ever do.

I'm not going to sugarcoat this. Surrender is, without a doubt, one of the most difficult aspects of manifestation. I have to remind myself of it constantly, especially when I'm in the middle of manifesting something that matters deeply to me.

But here's what I've learned: the universe meets you at the depth of your surrender, not at the height of your struggle.

Let's dive in.

 Insight:

Here's the thing about surrender: it's an annoying paradox. But once you master it, everything shifts.

On one hand, manifestation requires you to be passionately connected to your vision. Your intention needs to be so clear and emotionally charged that you're essentially telling the quantum field: "Bring me this."

You've got to see it, feel it, and believe it.

And on the other hand, you have to completely let go.

You must hold that passionate vision without any effort, without gripping, without needing it to happen on your timeline or in your way.

There has to be an equal and opposite energy present at the same time: complete non-attachment to how and when it arrives.

Extreme desire held with completely open hands.

In Chinese Taoism, there's a concept called wu wei, roughly translated as "effortless action" or "non-doing."

It doesn't mean doing nothing.

It means acting without forcing, moving without pushing, creating without struggling. It's the state where your actions flow from alignment rather than anxiety, from inspiration rather than desperation.

Essentially, this means not to be attached to how it manifests, but not to lose sight of it either.

It's a balancing act.

That's what we're aiming for here.

This is the art of surrender.

The Science Behind Surrender

Whether you study the HeartMath Institute, Dr Joe Dispenza, Lynne McTaggart, Tom Campbell, Dean Radin, or any other scientific research in this field, it all points back to the same fundamental principle.

Manifestation requires two things: a clear intention, which is the thought or vision, combined with elevated emotion, which is the feeling of already having it.

Thought + feeling.

That's it. That's the signal you're sending to the quantum field.

But here's where most people get stuck. The field you're sending that signal to doesn't operate in the same dimension as your physical reality. We live in space-time, where everything unfolds sequentially.

Here's a simple example.

If I asked you to go and make yourself a cup of tea right now, you'd first visualise having the tea, then you'd get up, walk to the kitchen, boil the kettle, make the drink, and walk back.

Your body moves through space, which creates the experience of time. That's space-time. That's pretty much how physical reality works.

But when you set an intention, when you visualise and feel your manifestation, you're operating from time-space, which is the inverse. In time-space, the outcome already exists. The version of reality where you have what you want is already complete. The challenge is that it has to collapse into space-time, into physical form, and that process takes however long it takes.

You've sent the signal, and the field has received it. Now your only job is to stay open, stay aligned, and stop trying to control the bridge between time-space and space-time.

This is why surrender is so essential: if you start "doubting" the process or questioning the time it's taking, you are essentially reversing your work and now manifesting delay.

You see why this is such a paradox?
The universe always handles the how.

All you have to do is handle the frequency.

How to Work With Surrender:

Here's what I've learned: when your vision is too big, you miss the smaller signs. You're so fixated on the destination that you don't notice the synchronicities, the breadcrumbs, the quiet confirmations that everything is moving in your favour.

So my practical advice, and this is something I do myself, is to simplify the vision. I hold my larger twelve-month intention passionately in meditation, but I also focus daily on manifesting the next sequential step.

Not the entire mountain, just the next foothold.

If you're trying to manifest a certain number of clients, or a level of income, or a following, or a relationship, ask yourself: what's the next step in that process? Can you surrender into that instead of white-knuckling the entire outcome?

For example, let's say someone is trying to manifest a relationship. They might visualise twelve months out, being in that relationship, travelling together, having experiences, and being deeply in love. They hold that vision in meditation, but then they get up and remind themselves that they're still single and so far from that reality. The gap feels huge. This is where most people get stuck.

What I recommend is holding that larger vision while also using gratitude to manifest the next smaller step within it. That might be manifesting the perfect match on a dating app, a synchronistic encounter, an unexpected conversation that leads somewhere.

You're attacking the manifestation from both sides: the big vision and the immediate next step. And after you do each part, you surrender. Then, as movement happens, you adjust your gratitude accordingly. The key is that you're grateful ahead of the event. I talk about this in detail in my book.

Here are my go-to reminders:

1. Catch the grip. The first step is simply awareness. Notice when you're checking, refreshing, replaying conversations in your head, or feeling the urge to take action when there's no sign pointing you in that direction. You don't need to fix it immediately. You just need to catch it. Awareness is the first act of surrender.

2. Simplify your intention. If your manifestation feels enormous and far away, break it down. What's the very next step? Surrender into that instead. Let the universe handle the larger orchestration while you stay present with what's directly in front of you. I go much deeper into this in chapters 9 and 11 of my book, Beyond Wanting - if this resonates, I'd encourage you to revisit those chapters.

3. Water your seeds daily. Be consistent. Hold your intention with clarity, connection, and deep joy every single day. Get into a form of meditation, think it, feel it, and then let it go and carry on with your day. If no signs come, if no obvious manifestation arrives, you simply repeat it again the next day. You're not getting in the way by doing this. You're watering your seeds like a gardener tends to their garden. And then you keep doing it. 4. Create a pattern interrupt. Every time the urge to grip arises, have something ready to redirect that energy. Go for a walk, move around the room, read a book, do something that shifts your state. The goal is to catch the grip and then move the energy rather than letting it spiral into forcing, checking, and chasing.

5. Ask for a sign. If you've been doing this work consistently for weeks or even months and there's still no synchronicity, no movement, no clarity on the next step, that's when I would ask for a sign. You can use José Silva's technique from The Silva Mind Control Method, which I discuss in detail in chapter 12 of Beyond Wanting. You essentially turn the problem into a project and hand it over to a higher form of intelligence to help you solve it. This isn't giving up. It's consciously inviting guidance.

6. Recognise the difference between inspiration and force. When a sign does come, it might not be obvious. It might not be someone telling you exactly what to do. It could be angel numbers, something you overhear, a line in a book that stops you in your tracks, or simply a burning intuition that won't leave you alone. The key is that inspired action feels expansive. Forced action feels heavy, like you're scratching an itch you know you shouldn't scratch, like you're doing something just to feel like you're doing something. Learn to feel the difference in your body. That distinction will serve you forever.

I want to be honest with you: this happens to me all the time. Manifestation is a journey, and surrender is a skill you build, not a switch you flip once.

Right now, I'm working with third-party organisations around the world on various projects. I'm organised, I'm efficient, and I like things to move. But sometimes the people I'm working with don't operate at the same pace I do. And in those moments, I feel the urge to force, to chase, to push things along because why hasn't it been done yet?

And every single time I catch that grip and surrender back into trust, the email comes. The thing happens. The movement appears.

Every single time.

So I'm not telling you this is easy. I'm telling you it works. And like anything worth mastering, it takes practice.

I'm not going to teach you a technique or share a framework. I want to get real with you about something that happened and what it reminded me of in this work.

Because here's the truth: manifestation is easy when life is smooth.

The real question is, what happens when it's not?

Insight:

Let's be honest, manifestation is easy when everything's going smoothly.

When life is flowing, when your health is good, when the people you love are safe, it's easy to sit in meditation, journal your gratitude, and hold a vision for the future.

The work feels light, fun, and honestly like magic.

But that's not the real test.

The real test is when something shakes you. 
When the phone rings with news you weren't expecting. When fear floods your body and every instinct screams at you to spiral.

Last week, my son Humphrey, who is 15 months old, was rushed to the emergency room.

He'd had an unexpected reaction to a certain food, and in that moment, it was terrifying.

Corisande and I were suddenly thrust into a world of chaos.

And here's what I noticed: when you're sitting in an ER surrounded by people bracing for the worst, people who maybe aren't doing this work, it's so easy to get pulled into that frequency.

The collective fear is so thick, you can feel it in the air.

And without being conscious, it’s so easy to fall into fear.

But this is where the work really comes in.

I remember holding Humphrey and saying to myself, "This is it. This is the moment all the practice has been for." Not the peaceful mornings. Not the easy meditations when life feels abundant. This. Right here. In the chaos.

Despite every instinct telling us to panic, Corisande and I opened our palms and quietly set an intention together: "We are so grateful and blessed that Humphrey has made a full recovery. He is healed, he is protected, he is safe. Thank you, thank you, thank you."

It feels counterintuitive in the moment.

Almost ridiculous given what was happening around us.

But I knew the work.

I knew intention alone modifies probability.

Corisande sat with her eyes closed, gently repeating her transcendental meditation mantra, just trying to calm her mind. I held Humphrey and made a conscious choice to stay in a frequency of "trust" rather than fear.

And within what felt like no time at all, he made a full recovery.

Today, you wouldn't even know anything had happened.

I'm not sharing this story to say "look what we manifested." I'm sharing it because I want you to know something important: the tools work when it matters most.

Not just on the good days, on the hard ones.

That's when they count.

The Gift of Consciousness

Consciousness is awareness with choice.

It was Tom Campbell who told me that, and I love it.

When life is calm, awareness comes easily. But when you're triggered, overwhelmed, scared, or under pressure, can you still be aware?

Can you still choose?

That's the practice.

We live in a probabilistic universe, and there's something called the law of rhythm, which means there will always be ups and downs. At some point, something will happen that shakes you; that's just part of being human.

You're not doing anything wrong when hard things happen, and I’m not saying that to scare you; it’s just called life.

But you get to choose how you meet it.

If you're reading this and thinking, "Matt, I don't have time for meditations, the journaling, and all the tools you recommend - I'm overwhelmed, I've got too much going on, life is chaos right now"

I hear you.

And I'd gently ask: who are you being, though?

You don't need an hour of silence to practise this. 
You need a moment of choice.

A decision about who you're going to be today, regardless of what's happening around you.

Excuse my French, but shit happens to all of us.
And if you're in a season of uncertainty, fear, or overwhelm right now, I want you to hear this: you're not alone.

This is where the work counts.

Not despite the hard stuff, because of it.

You don't have to be perfect, you don't have to always feel calm.

You just have to stay conscious.

And when you can, even just for a moment, choose the frequency you want to hold rather than the one the world is handing you.

Because that alone will change everything.

This week, we're exploring one of the most commonly asked questions I receive: Can you manifest for others?

Let's dive in.

Insight:

Let's start with a quick recap on how manifestation actually works at a quantum level.

You hold a vision in your mind, a clear thought of what you want to create. Then you feel the emotions aligned with that outcome already in place.

The HeartMath Institute calls this "heart-brain coherence.”

And when you combine a clear thought with elevated emotion, you're sending out a powerful signal to a unifying field of intelligence where all possibilities already exist as energy.

If you keep sending out that signal every day through meditation, journaling, gratitude, or whatever practice resonates with you, physical reality starts to render sequentially to meet that intention.

This is what quantum mechanics refers to as the "observer effect" - consciousness influencing matter.

When you're doing this for yourself, it makes intuitive sense. It's your own dream, your own feelings, your own frequency. You're the one showing up consistently, tuning into the vision, allowing the quantum field to respond.

But one of the questions I get asked all the time is this: Can you manifest for others? Is collective intention a real thing?

And if so, how does it actually work?

Let me break this down, because it's not as simple as most people think, but it's also far more powerful.

What The Research Shows

The work of my peers in this space, Dr Joe Dispenza and Lynne McTaggart, have actually proven that collective intention in live, measurable settings, works.

Dr Joe developed a technique called Coherence Healing, where groups of people come together with the sole intention of healing another person. They move beyond their own concerns, connect to the quantum field, open their hearts, and enter a state of deep heart-brain coherence. What they often witness are miraculous healings.

Not just in person at his events, but remotely over Zoom, with people they've never physically met. His coherence group now facilitates healing sessions each week, every single day of the year, with documented results.

Lynne McTaggart's work through The Power of Eight has revealed something equally remarkable. When small groups focus their intention together on a single person, they create a powerful collective dynamic that can heal longstanding conditions and manifest incredible outcomes.

Lynne discovered what she calls the "rebound effect" - those who send the healing intention often experience miraculous transformations in their own lives. The act of focusing wholeheartedly on another person's well-being seems to unlock something profound within the sender.

What both of these bodies of work confirm is that space and time are not barriers to intention.

The quantum field (Universe) doesn't care whether you're in the same room or on opposite sides of the planet. When you change the frequency in the field, you change physical matter.

So yes, intention can absolutely influence someone else's potential outcome, whether that's a health condition, a life circumstance, or something they're actively trying to manifest.

Which brings us to the question you're probably asking: how does this work if there's a loved one you'd like to manifest for?

The Underlying Truth

You can absolutely hold intention for someone you love. You can send them energy, visualise them thriving, and focus your heart on their highest good.

The research confirms this works.

But there are some important nuances that will determine whether your intention actually lands or bounces off the very person you're trying to help.

The first thing to understand is free will.

Every conscious being on this planet is their own co-creator. They have their own frequency, their own intentions, their own soul journey. And the Universe honours that. You cannot override someone else's free will, no matter how pure your intentions are.

You cannot manifest a specific outcome onto someone who isn't energetically open to receiving it. This isn't a limitation; it's actually a beautiful protection.

Imagine if other people could impose their vision on your life without your consent. It would be chaos.

So when you hold intention for someone else, you're not controlling their reality. You're contributing energy to their field. You're making it easier for them to align with a positive outcome, but they still have to meet it halfway, consciously or unconsciously.

This is why collective intention works so powerfully in both live settings and online communities: the person receiving the intention has asked for it. They're open, willing, and there's no energetic resistance, so the frequency can flow freely.

Which raises an important question: does the person need to know you're holding an intention for them?

Not necessarily. But their openness matters.

If someone is deeply resistant to change, stuck in victimhood, or committed to their current story, your intention will have a harder time reaching them. It's not that it won't work at all; it's that the energy you send meets friction.

On the other hand, if someone is open, even if they don't consciously know you're sending them energy, your intention can absolutely influence the probabilities in their favour. You're essentially adding coherence to their field, and coherence creates order. It creates openings. It creates what we experience as synchronicity and flow.

Here's where the nuance comes in, though.

The energy behind your intention matters more than the specificity of it.

If you're holding intention for your child to heal, of course, you're going to visualise them healthy, that's not control, that's love. If your partner is going for a job they really want, of course, you're going to hold the vision of them getting it. If your friend is battling something and they've asked for your support, of course, you're going to focus on the outcome they're hoping for.

That's beautiful, and that's exactly what this is for.

The distinction isn't about whether your intention is specific; it's about where the intention is coming from.

If you're holding intention from a place of love, trust, and genuine belief in their wholeness, that frequency carries. It will reach them and add coherence to their field.

But if you're holding intention from a place of fear, desperation, or anxiety, if you're gripping tightly because you're terrified of what happens if it doesn't work, that's a different frequency altogether.

That's worry dressed up as intention.

So the invitation isn't to water down your intention or make it vague. The invitation is to check in with yourself: am I offering this from love, or am I trying to control an outcome because I'm scared?

When the intention is pure, when you know in your heart it's for their highest good, when you're coming from a place of love rather than fear, absolutely go for it.

The most powerful thing you can do for someone you love is to see them as already whole, and to hold that vision even when circumstances suggest otherwise.

So, in a long-winded but hopefully valuable way, the answer is YES - you can absolutely manifest for others.

Just keep the nuances mentioned above in mind.

This week, I'm taking you deep into the art of manifesting abundance.

Not the surface-level, Instagram-filtered version of abundance. The real thing... The kind that changes how you move through the world.

Because here's what I've learned after years of doing this work: abundance isn't something you acquire. It's something you become.

Let's dive in:

Insight: Understanding True Abundance 

Before we get started, and before you read any further, I want you to ponder for a moment on this question: 

"What does abundance mean to me?" 

Go there now in your imagination and visualise an outcome that reflects the essence of abundance for you. 

Now look at your own life. 

Do you feel truly aligned with that version of your future self or life, or is there some form of deficiency? 

Perhaps a gap or void, where this thing called "abundance" is separated from you? 

Perhaps you believe the vision of abundance will be unlocked when you arrive? 

I'd love to offer you a counter-understanding:

Abundance is here right now, in your life. Not as a "thing" but as a frequency of energy and a state in nature. 

It surrounds us at all times, whether we are conscious of it or not. Most people are chasing something they think is abundance, when actually it's something else entirely. They see abundance as having a lot of things. 

Big houses, full bank accounts, luxury holidays. And yes, those things can certainly be part of an abundant life. But they're not abundance itself. 

Abundance is a property of the universe. 

As I type this from my Cornish garden office, I'm looking out at nature. My garden is full of trees, and what I see is abundance.

A single apple tree doesn't produce one apple. It produces hundreds. An oak doesn't create one acorn; it creates thousands upon thousands, far more than it could ever need to reproduce itself. The grass doesn't grow one blade at a time... 

I could go on, the point being:

 The universe operates on a principle of overflow and excess.

 And you are not separate from it, you are made of it.

The same intelligence that causes trees to produce abundant fruit, that covers fields with wildflowers, that fills every corner of my garden with life, that intelligence is moving through you right now.

Abundance is your natural state.

Scarcity is the learned one.

The Manifestation Paradox

Here's where most people get it wrong, and why their manifestation practices keep them stuck in the very scarcity they're trying to escape.

When you're manifesting from this place - "I need to get abundance, I need to accumulate this thing, I need to hold onto it" - you're actually manifesting from lack.

You're telling the universe: "I don't have it. I'm separate from it. I need to chase it."

And the universe, that infinite field of intelligence, simply reflects that frequency back to you.

And this is where manifestation gets really interesting, because it reveals a profound paradox.

You cannot manifest abundance from a place of not having it. You can only manifest abundance from a place of already being abundant.

This seems impossible at first.

How can you be abundant before you have the evidence? How can you embody something that hasn't shown up yet in your physical reality?

But this is precisely how manifestation works. The universe doesn't respond to what you want. It responds to what you are being.

Which means the work isn't to chase abundance out there somewhere. The work is to recognise the abundance that's already here, already present, already available, and to align yourself with it so completely that it becomes your dominant frequency.

This is why most people's vision boards, affirmations, and manifestation techniques fail.

They're trying to use them to get abundance. But abundance cannot be gotten. It can only be recognised and embodied, and then reflected back.

Now, let me be clear:

There are many abundant people out there. Many people with lots of money who have worked really hard, who have dragged themselves through the mud to make it. And that's definitely a choice. I'm not saying, by any means, that you can't be abundant without doing this work.

What I'm saying is there is an easier way. A flowing way. A way to reconnect to what already is.

And it's the work I've done. 

If you've read my book or any of my peers in this industry, it's a simple truth: what you are reflects. The version of you standing in the mirror is the reflection you see. And if you start to be abundant now, grateful for the blessings that are all around us, you will see abundance reflected in your world (literally).

When I first learned this, it seemed pretty flowery and abstract to me, especially when I was up to my ears in debt and wondering how I was going to pay the mortgage after I quit my corporate job.

I know everything I'm sharing here contradicts your deepest survival programming. Your animal brain wants to clench, control, and force. 

But actually, paradoxically, the moment you trust it and lean in, unbelievable things happen.

And when those opportunities arise, you strike and take action. It's not about sitting around doing nothing. It's about being in the right frequency so you can recognise and receive what's trying to come to you.

The Underlying Truth

Let me be direct with you. 

Everything I've shared above is foundational. 
But here's the truth that ties it all together:

To attract abundance, you must first BE abundant. 
That's it. That's the work.

Now, here's where it gets interesting.

When you embody abundance as a state, when you hold that frequency, your life begins to shift. Things start flowing, synchronicities appear, doors open that you didn't even know existed, and magic becomes ordinary.

But if you want to see specific abundant things manifest in your reality, if you want to direct that energy toward particular outcomes, you need one more element.

Intention.

The universe responds to frequency, yes. 

But it also responds to direction, focused will, attention and intention.

When you combine an abundant state with clear intention, you're not just open to receiving, you're actively shaping what you receive. 

You're telling the unified field: " I'm ready. I'm abundant, and this is my intention."

Intention modifies probability. It bends reality toward your vision, and it takes the raw energy of abundance and gives it form, purpose, and destination.

Think of it this way: abundance is the fuel, and Intention is the steering wheel.

Without intention, you'll still experience abundance, more flow and more ease. But with intention, you become a conscious creator. 

Abundant State + Intention = Specific Manifestation Outcome

That's the formula.

Last week, we explored Embodied Action, becoming the future version of yourself and acting from that place.

But here's the thing nobody tells you: you can do all the inner work, embody your future self perfectly, take every aligned action... and still block what's coming to you.

Because manifestation isn't just about what you put out, it's about what you allow in.

This week, we're exploring the forgotten half of the equation: The Art of Receiving.

Let's dive in.

 Insight: What Receiving Actually Means

Most people think receiving is what happens after manifestation, the reward at the end, where you do the work and then you receive the result.

But that's not what receiving is at all.

Receiving isn't the final step of manifestation; it's the foundation of it.

Think about it this way: every moment of every day, the Universe (Quantum Field), is offering you information through signs, synchronicities, intuitive nudges, chance encounters, overheard conversations, and feelings that seem to come from nowhere.

I say the field is constantly communicating and constantly delivering, and the question isn't whether the Universe is sending, it's whether you're available to receive.

Receiving is a state of being. 

It's an act of openness, availability, and the willingness to be open without needing to control how it arrives, when it arrives, or what it looks like when it does.

And what makes this profound is that most of us are far more comfortable giving than receiving.

Think about it, we'll give our energy, our time, our love, and our effort endlessly, but when it comes to receiving? We deflect compliments, insist on paying our share, struggle to ask for help, and feel guilty when good things come easily.

This isn't humility. It's a block.

And the Universe wants you to receive.

The Universe operates on a flow, an inhale, and an exhale. 

I like to think of giving as the exhale, and receiving as the inhale... But most of us constantly exhale (give out), without inhaling (enjoying the air).

So if receiving is the inhale, most of us have forgotten how to breathe.

With this in mind, ask yourself honestly: where in your life are you holding your breath?

Where are you giving and giving and giving, but refusing to let anything flow back to you? Where are you telling the universe, "I can put out, but I can't allow in"?

Because here's what happens when you do that: the field respects it. It won't force anything on you. It simply waits, offering and offering, until you're finally ready to open your hand and let it land.

The Universe has been trying to give to you this whole time.

So the question is: Are you ready to receive?

A Story About This:

When Corisande and I were manifesting our home here in Cornwall, we'd done all the work. We'd found the house, made the offer, and kept seeing 9's everywhere, which represents completion.

All the signs were there, and I knew it was a done deal.

But then came the wait.

We were up against multiple other offers, and I watched Corisande struggle with the receiving.

For days, her body was filled with competitiveness, the urge to control, and the need to fight for the outcome. 
Every fifteen minutes, it was the same thing: "Why haven't we heard? Should we phone them? Let's phone them." The urge to chase, to push, to make it happen was overwhelming her.

I kept saying: "We have to be ready to receive. It's already done."

Finally, after a few days of this, I said to her, "Go and sit down, and do a transcendental meditation. You need to get out of your own way."

She didn't want to. It felt like the opposite of what her body wanted to do: to force and fight for the outcome.

But she did it anyway.

And that act of getting out of the way, of allowing herself to connect with the stillness and simply enjoy the moment, was the act of opening her hand.

After days of gripping tightly, she finally let go.

And here's the thing: in those short twenty minutes of meditation, her phone rang. It was the estate agent. The offer had been accepted. The moment she stopped reaching for it was the moment it arrived.

This isn't a coincidence.

This is how the Universe works.

Her stillness created the space for reality to collapse into form. Her letting go was the final ingredient the manifestation needed.

And here's the funny thing - you already do this unconsciously in everyday life. 

Think about telling a story and forgetting someone's name. You don't panic or force it. You just say, "Oh, it'll come to me in a moment," and it always does. Always. You trust completely that it will arrive, so you let go, and it lands.

We've somehow programmed trust into the small things without even realising it. But when it comes to the big things, the house, the relationship, the career, the dream, we forget. 

We grip, we chase, and we hold our breath.

What if you approached your biggest manifestations the same way you approach a forgotten name?

What if you just said, "It'll come to me," and trusted that it would?

How to work with this insight: 

Receiving is a practice. For most of us, it doesn't come naturally, especially if you're an action-taker, a doer, someone who's been taught that results come from effort.

Here are a few simple steps to try this week:

• Notice where you're gripping. After you've set an intention, done your visualisation, and taken your aligned action, where do you keep checking? What do you keep refreshing, revisiting, and asking about? That's where you're not trusting the gap, and that's where you need to practice letting go.

• Create space for arrival. The universe delivers through signs, intuitions, overheard conversations, and unexpected encounters, but you can only catch these if you're present enough to notice them. If you're constantly in your head strategising your next move, you'll miss the breadcrumb right in front of you. 

• Try my brand-new "Trusting the Unknown meditation". A powerful 27-minute guided experience designed to slow the mind, disengage from the noise of everyday life, and reconnect you with the unseen intelligence of the Universe. • Practise stillness as an active choice. This isn't about doing nothing. It's about consciously choosing to stop reaching. Meditation helps. Walking in nature helps. Anything that settles the water of your awareness so that reality can reflect clearly. My advice is to try a non-negotiable 30-minute walk or meditation in complete stillness.

Pick one of these to focus on this week, or if you're feeling ready, try all four.

The invitation is simply to notice where you've been holding your breath and to give yourself permission to finally breathe in. 

The universe has been waiting to give to you; this is your week to let it.

Here's a question to ask yourself before we dive into this edition: What are you doing right now, in your daily life, that reflects the person you're becoming?

Because here's what I've learned: Manifestation isn't just about what you think or feel, it's about who you're being in every moment.

You attract into your life who you are being, not what you want.

Let’s dive in:

Insight: Embodied Action

When people ask me what embodiment means, here's what I tell them: Embodiment is who you're being in the present moment, fully, completely, in your thinking, your feeling, your actions, and your behaviour all at once.

It's not one or the other. It's all of it, integrated and aligned, sending out a single, coherent frequency into the quantum field.

Most people approach manifestation like this: they visualise their desire, they feel the emotions of having it during their morning practice, and then they close their eyes, say "okay universe, now bring it to me," and go back to living exactly as they did before.

They think their job is done because they've done the inner work. But the universe doesn't just respond to your visualisation or your five minutes of elevated emotion. The universe responds to the energetic signal you're broadcasting through your entire being, moment to moment, throughout your day.

This is where embodied action becomes everything. To attract anything you want into your life, you have to start being the version of yourself in the future who already has it, and that means doing what they do.

Not occasionally, not when you remember, but as your natural way of moving through the world, which creates an embodiment of your future self, and this sends out the most powerful signal you can possibly transmit.

Let me give you an example from my own life:

When I was growing the newsletter from a few hundred subscribers to where we are now (almost 40,000 readers), I had a choice every week. I could write the newsletter from the energy of "I'm a small creator hoping to grow," or from the energy of "I'm someone who serves tens of thousands of people with deep, transformative content, and knows his stuff."

Same action (writing a newsletter), but a completely different embodiment.

The version of me that already had the audience I wanted didn't write tentatively or hold back the depth of insight. He didn't second-guess whether people would understand or appreciate it. He trusted his voice, he gave generously, and he showed up with the consistency of someone who knew his work mattered. So that's what I did. I embodied that version of myself before my external reality caught up with it.

And the external reality shifted to meet that frequency.

This can be replicated in all other aspects of what you're looking to manifest, and it's exactly how I'm approaching all of my desires this year: by getting clear on the future version of Matt who has it all, and figuring out what he did and who he became.

A Dive Deeper:

Here's where most people get tripped up, and it's crucial to understand this:

Embodied action is not the same as forced action. You can do the exact same behaviour, sending the email, making the call, posting the content, having the conversation, and it can either be embodied action or forced action, depending on the energy underneath it.

Forced action comes from lack. It comes from "I need this to work because I don't have it yet." It comes from anxiety, urgency, or trying to make something happen through sheer willpower. It feels like pushing, like effort, like you're trying to convince the universe or prove something. But the universe reads that frequency loud and clear. You're broadcasting "I don't have this yet, I'm separate from my desire, I'm trying to bridge a gap." That's the signal.

That's what gets reflected back to you.

Embodied action, on the other hand, comes from already being. It comes from "This is who I am, and this is what I naturally do." It feels easy, aligned, even inevitable. There's no desperation in it because you're not trying to become someone; you already are that person. You're simply living from that place. The universe reads this frequency, too, and it responds completely differently.

You're broadcasting "I already am this, this is my natural state," and reality organises itself around that truth.

How to work with this insight: 

It starts with getting clear on who the future version of you actually is, the one who already has what you want. Not in some vague, abstract way, but with real specificity.

What does that version of you do on a Tuesday morning? How do they make decisions? What do they prioritise? How do they speak to themselves? How do they move through their day?

This isn't about creating a fantasy version of yourself that's completely disconnected from who you are now. It's about identifying the natural next evolution of you, the one that's already emerging, and then consciously stepping into that identity before the circumstances demand it.

Once you have clarity on this future self, you start asking yourself throughout the day: "What would they do right now?" Not as a mental exercise, but as a genuine inquiry that guides your choices.

And then you do that thing.

You make that call. You set that boundary. You take that rest. You invest in that course. You have that difficult conversation. Whatever it is that the future version of you would naturally do, you do it now, from the energy of already being that person.

I'm not for one minute saying this is easy. You will be up against the storehouse of your programmed personality, but in order to see your world change, it always starts within.

Because remember, in order to "have" what you want, you need to "be" a certain person, and that version "did" things that made them who they are. Once you start "being" them, by embodying their thoughts, feelings, and actions, the universe has no choice but to reflect that state back to you.

This changes everything.

Trust me.

Before I decided on this week's newsletter title and the perfect topic to kick off 2026, I realised something while reviewing my notes: I'm now in my fourth year of writing these newsletters.

I started in January 2023 and haven't missed a single Saturday. Not one. Maybe you've been here from the start, maybe you joined somewhere along the way, but either way, you're part of something that's grown from fewer than 100 readers to nearly 40,000 each week.

Which is pretty cool when you think about it. And you know what? That's the power of consistency right there, living proof of what we're about to explore together.

I am incredibly grateful to have you here.

Let's go:

Insight: The Consistency Secret

I get asked all the time: "Matt, how did you do it? How did you manifest this life?" People expect a secret formula, a hidden technique, a shortcut I stumbled upon. But the truth is far simpler and far more powerful than that.

Consistency.

Together with the formula and tools that I teach in my book, that's my secret weapon.

Showing up every single day, even when I didn't feel like it, even when nothing seemed to be happening, even when doubt crept in.

Let's be honest, though, consistency can be difficult. Some days you'll wake up inspired, energised, ready to take on the world. But other days, you'll wake up tired, discouraged, in pain, or unmotivated.

You'll sometimes question whether manifesting even works for someone like you. You sometimes catch yourself saying it works for others, but not for you. You'll look at your vision board and feel nothing. You'll sit down to journal, and your mind will go blank. You'll try to visualise your desired reality, and it'll feel like hard work, racing thoughts drowning out any sense of clarity.

Those are the days that matter most.

Because manifestation is real, and every human being has the creative power built within them.

The universe doesn't just respond to your enthusiasm, though; it responds to your commitment to consistency and the continuous signal you keep sending out.

Here's what I've learned about manifestation that changed everything for me: consistent intention modifies probabilistic odds.

To actually shift something from existing as a "probability" in the quantum field to manifesting in your lived experience, you can't just set an intention once and walk away.

You've got to keep throwing out the signal, keep showing up, and be consistent in your practice, even on the hard days.

People often ask me whether I repeat the same visions and gratitude statements, and the answer is yes, but I don't obsess over them. My morning routine now takes around 30-45 minutes, sometimes less, sometimes more. I used to spend over an hour before we had Humphrey; everyone is different.

Once I complete the routine, I step back and get out of the way. I've sent the signal out, so I set a daily intention to stay emotionally aligned, protect my energy, stay conscious, and allow the universe to deliver the surprise when it's ready.

And I repeat each day, evolving my visualisation and practice as and when manifestations come to fruition.

Initially, when you're doing this work, it can feel like nothing is happening. Like you're writing into the void. Then, slowly, something shifts.

The more you keep sending that signal out, the quicker reality starts to render around you.

I know this as fundamentally as I know the sun will rise tomorrow. It's just like anything in life: you don't get immediate results, but then the compounding effect kicks in and results start appearing faster and faster.

I have witnessed firsthand hundreds of my coaching clients transform their lives in their relentless pursuit of consistency, even in the face of nothing.

What To Do When You're Consistent With No Result

The truth is, the more I learn about this work, the deeper I understand how manifestation actually operates.

Although anything we seek exists as energy in the quantum field, the way it collapses and manifests in our lived three-dimensional physical experience isn't just about intention. It's about whether it fits within the ruleset of our reality probabilistically.

Let me give you an example.

Let's say someone has been holding the intention to manifest winning the lottery for the past 12 months. Every single day, they've been grateful for it, visualised it, felt the emotions of already having won, but 12 months later, no win.

Here's what we need to understand: the lottery has massive odds against it. A particular draw might have odds of 300 million to 1. Manifestation doesn't claim we can reduce any odds to 1:1 certainty. We know scientifically that intention modifies statistical odds, but we're working in an environment where you and I both have free will, where we're both souls navigating this experience together, and the system must be fair for everyone participating.

Now, I'm not saying you can't manifest winning the lottery because anything is possible, but it just makes sense that the lower the odds, the easier it is to manifest.

The compounding result of that consistency, of sending out that intention day after day, is going to tweak and reduce and bring those odds down in your favour. You're not going to get lottery odds down from millions to 1:1, but almost everything else in life works differently. Relationships, money, new clients, business opportunities, health improvements, buying a house, these are all so much easier to manifest because the odds are nowhere near as astronomically high. 

There are countless ways these things can show up for you, with multiple pathways for the universe to deliver them, which is just so exciting.

When my manifestations aren't happening, I've learned to ask myself different questions. Can I simplify this in any way? Can I loosen my grip on "exactly how" it must manifest? Can there be fewer people involved in this particular outcome? 

What’s brought me tremendous peace over the years is knowing that if our specific manifestations don't come to fruition, rejection is a form of protection and always redirection.

The universe might be saving you from something that wasn't actually aligned with your highest good, even if you thought it was exactly what you wanted.

Be consistent, absolutely, but don't be rigid. Be open to evolution. Try looking at what you're manifesting from a different perspective. 

Sometimes what we think we want isn't what's actually meant for us, and that's the field's beautiful intelligence at work on our behalf.

Keep tweaking, keep playing, keep working with that field of intelligence, because, scientifically, we know it's real

The key is learning to dance with it rather than trying to control it.

Just be consistent this year, and watch your life change.
